I have a season ticket and wish I could be there. But because the government have only just relaxed the rules for quarrentine for european vaccinated travellers the flights and testing is to expensive at such late notice!
I'll be cheering the lads on from the tv though.
Hopefully 20/21,000 will be at The Valley for an unforgettable day. I hope to see you all there soon #COYA
Stupid question, but I’m guessing you live in Finland, you have a season ticket?
Wonder where the furthest away season ticket holder is located?!
I do live in Finland, Before covid hit I was attending quite a few games as I would regularly visit family in Kent, obviously that's changed since covid. But since TS came in I wanted to show my support for the club, and I'm hoping from September/October I can get over and watch 1-2 games a month. I was a season ticket holder before I moved to Finland as well.

The club looks to have sold about 270 tickets so far today, which isn't great for a Monday, although print-at-home is likely to have shifted the buying patterns. Based on the system, I'd say we were somewhere around the 17,000 mark if you allow for 3,000 Wednesday. That is more likely to be an overestimate than an underestimate, because there can be seats not available publicly that aren't occupied and I'm guessing the closed areas are about 2,000 in total. They could be a bit more than that in practice.
The actual on the day will be a good 2,000-plus lower than the announced, I expect.
Seriously , third tier guff, live on a Saturday 5.30pm and Covidian times and Wednesday will have something like 3k … Not in a gazillion years could we ever get anywhere near those maaaasive away numbers …. Impressive beyond
Who are these 2/3k nutters everyone’s predicting who don’t turn up for the first game of the season after a pandemic because we haven’t signed 1 or 2 players this week 😂
Won’t be there, still plenty of cricket to be played before football on Saturdays returns for me but sisters, niece and nephews using our season tickets
I really don't think signings have nearly the impact people seem to think they do.
This is League One. How many of the players we end up signing have the majority of our fans actually heard of?
And then, based on that, what impact does it have on ticket sales? I'm sure 99% of those banging on about signings on twitter and sites like this have already made their decision about Saturday.

yeah but remember half of them live in London and the other half haven't been allowed out of Sheffield for the best part of 18 months

OohAah: Charlton fans are the least committed in the country, absolute guff, not got the loyalty like northern clubs...
Also OohAah: Hornchurch CC do the most amazing tea that’s not to be missed, sourdough bread sandwiches and home made scones. Unreal

If not, 16-17
I’m optimistically going for 18-20k.
On another point, I wonder how many Charlton International TV season tickets have been sold?
18,500
