Actually, I'm more annoyed with this government than the protesters, because they cancelled their Green Homes Deal (or whatever it was called) rather than rolling the unspent money into the next year. We spent a lot of time with SELCE (South East London Community Energy) working out how to best insulate our old house, only to be left high and dry (or out in the cold) after the government dragged its feet over approving contractors, and then pulled the plug,so that a lot of people ended up losing their jobs as well.

I agree, as nonsensical as suggesting that because there was heavy rain yesterday then the motorists inconvenienced by Insulate Britain should redirect there anger towards the skies....

There was a clip that I saw where a Police Officer pulled a woman off of the road, and she screamed that he had ripped her hand off of the road as she has glued it onto the road surface. The copper didn’t seem that bothered, so a simple hard pull would free them.
It certainly does. But as others have alluded to, contrary to popular opinion, the police would actually like to remove these people as pain free as possible. You may not believe it but working in such a unit you do actually feel for those who devote their lives to certain causes. Especially climate change & animal cruelty. But there are lines that can’t be crossed. I never had that conflict of interest as my specialist subject was the XRW. Nobody cares how badly you treat them.

I then posted what it stood for, even getting a couple of likes for doing so, read back if you can be bothered. That was left there until a poster invoked the extreme left wing, I didn’t invoke it. So XRW was introduced by @KBslittlesis, and XLW by @4Real. None of that was me attention seeking.
