Shambles would be a very kind way to describe that second half. God only knows what goes on between games on the training pitch but it certainly ain’t working.
Everyone is fucked off but the "I saw this coming and you all LOL'd me but I was right and you were wrong and I won't rest until you individually admit it bet you feel silly now" thing is a bit provocative. As if that matters to anyone.
it's obvious that Adkins just can't get this group playing for him .. he was a bad appointment and nothing will improve until he's gone .. It is as plain and simple as that .. whether Sandy has the guts and/or cash to change things we will know very shortly .. the next two games are against teams in good nick, I doubt we'll get even a point against Fleetwood or Rotherham
Ive been hoping NA would turn it around, but watching that tonight, even after we scored I wasn't comfortable we would win it. Now its time for him to move on, who comes in I don't know, but this can't continue. Curbs and Deano speaking lots of sense, I agree with every word. Good night.
I don't think he has lost the side but his selection is awful, far too open.
We were fine for the first 35 minutes. We look so unfit it's unbelievable. That's when players make mistakes, get caught out of position, hoof the ball. When they are tired. It's a fucking disgrace.
Alright, ten games in and we are second bottom. It's grim grim grim.
Pre-Gillingham I said anything less than five points from Gills, Pompey, Bolton and I'd be in the Adkins out camp. Unfortunately that has come to pass with only 2 points.
Is the Rotherham game postponed for internationals yet? We need to target the 16th (away @ Lincoln) as the reset to our season with a new man in charge otherwise this could get really ugly really quickly.
Rotherham isn’t officially postponed, but it will be, so I make you right on targeting the Lincoln match as the second “first match” of the season
Our defending is a complete and utter joke. No idea how it has become so bad but something needs to change and I include the entire first team coaching staff in that statement as well as the manager.
The worst part about this purgatory is if we continue to doss about in the relegation zone we again won't get our recruitment done early next season either "not knowing what division we'll be in"
Feel very sorry for CBT, Leko and Davison who gave everything and remain our best attacking 3. First 30 mins we looked genuinely dangerous every time it went wide. At last, wide men that go past their man and deliver on the money crosses. Best front 3 settled and must start on Saturday. It’s the engine room that continues to let us down IMHO, not helped by defensive errors, once again by Matthews for the equaliser. We have enough bodies and enough experience in midfield but no single midfielder good enough to be a shoo in for the starting 11, so you have to “platoon” them when tiredness becomes a factor. And (for whatever reason) tiredness was obviously setting in before half time. Subs should have been used more proactively and earlier in 2nd half or even at half time to try to maintain our shape and discipline in the middle of the park to try to prevent the yawning gaps appearing yet again. We might still have lost the game but the margin and manner was down to NA not using the bench well enough IMO.
Ignoring the RD era jokers, I never thought I’d see a less inspiring team that an Phil Parkinson one but Nicey Nigel has really excelled. Sangaard needs to act now before the noise starts turning towards him.

"Clean sheet win"

Well here we fucking are lads

Good night.
Jackson's set-pieces aren't exactly Premier League quality are they?
Sorry Scott, looks like you'll have to fill in for another 10 minutes still!
(And if you're looking to fill time, Deano isn't the man to have next to you!)
