    A real shame, think he’s great and his dad jokes with goal scorer’s names crack me up. A very hard act to follow.

    Real shame, Jeff supports a lower league side an appreciates the football world doesn’t cease to exist outside of the top 10 in the Premier League. Almost certain to be replaced with someone who hasn’t a clue, but fits the modern view of who should be given the job. Be like when they replaced Danny Baker with David Mellor, who knew nothing about anything football related outside of bloody Chelsea.

    Used to love Soccer Saturday but lost all interest with all the changes they made. Michael Dawson is beyond painful to listen to

    Always liked Jeff though hopefully he gets a decent gig somewhere

    It's been obvious he's just been going through the motions since Thompson, Nicholas and Le Tiss were binned for a "younger, more diverse panel". And he said at the time he wasn't happy with the changes.

    Geoff is a massive part of my growing up watching football just like someone like Motson. Absolute legend.
