  • Finished 0-4 and takes Exeter to 6th for now
  • I liked the Exeter kit
  • Ipswich playing well at Plymouth. Lots of movement up front & plenty of efforts at goal. That's why they are top. Funny what spending some money does.
  • What is Plymouth’s budget then, or is it an owner letting the manager manage?
  • Plymouth currently 3-0 up at MK Dons. A sign of how well Plymouth are playing at the moment, but equally surprising is how poor MK Dons have been. Yes they've had to rebuild, but 2 months in you'd expect them to be getting better, not worse!
  • Only 1 home team winning in League 1 compared to 8 away teams leading at half time. Maybe not too much of a surprise when you see who are away today, but Lincoln winning at Ipswich ??
  • Bristol Rovers 4-0 up at Cheltenham is a shocker too!
  • 2 points off the relegation places. 5 off the play offs as it stands

Probably pick up form in ten days time.

Good job we won on tues night, otherwise we'd be in deep trouble. A defeat would now see us in the bottom 4.

2 points but we’re 13th. It’s very cramped in that bottom half right now

MK will be brilliant on 25/10.
  • Been to watch Horsham Trinity Vs TD Shipley and I have to say that was more enjoyable than my last trip to the Valley.
  • Bust day at Brammall Lane, a 3 all draw with Blackpool finishing with 9 men, and then 1 more from each side sent off after the final whistle!
  • Only 1 home team winning in League 1 compared to 8 away teams leading at half time. Maybe not too much of a surprise when you see who are away today, but Lincoln winning at Ipswich ??
Looks like that game was the definition of ‘smash and grab’

It would have been heaped on massive pressure, going into Monday's game 4th bottom

We ended the afternoon in 14th but 4 points off the bottom four. Goes to prove the point that it’s ridiculously cramped still despite having a bit more breathing room than we did at 4:30.

Four points from relegation, five points from 6th.

Win on Monday and we’d be three points away from 4th.

Plymouth, Ipswich and Sheff Wed pulling away from the pack. Seven points separating 4th from 3rd.
  • Feels like it’s always the case if you can string 3-5 wins in a row you will move up the table in the league - but even more so this year at the moment!

If we can beat Portsmouth and get some momentum (can’t see it happening like this to be fair - but you never know with Aneke in your team), then we will be looking in a far more decent position then we did a couple of weeks back.
  • Nobody's had a worse day than Accrington's Sean McConville tbh

Pompey do have 3 games in hand on the 3 teams above them. though have gone slightly off the boil recently

Was like watching pinball at times in the second half.

Wasn't impressed with Ipswich at all in the first half, but after the break they really turned up the heat. Some unbelievable defending from Lincoln though, they really threw their bodies on the line and got in some brilliant blocks.

    Didn't help them today though.

Their fans seem to think their lack of a decent striker will cost them this year. It was almost as if you were there, in my ear.
  • Baffling that, surely the goal frame stays in place all season? Or at least just gets put back in, in exactly the same place as before?
  • It was the same situation as at Wigan last Saturday. They played the game with one goal bigger than the other. It must be dual rugby football issues
  • The way we regularly shoot over the bar, we'd be promotion contenders if we could make the goal 2 foot taller!
