  • I see Huddersfield play Reading on the final day of the season

Is there a division which sees more points deductions than the Championship? It seems in recent years there have been so many teams being deducted points for breaking rules or going into administration.

That is the issue with being within touching distance of the golden purse of the Prem, it entices many teams to spend beyond their means gambling to go up.
  • Warnock doing a ridiculous job at Huddersfield. 3 consecutive wins, all against promotion chasing teams in Millwall, Boro and now Watford.

That's two defeats in a week for Wednesday after being unbeaten for over 20 games. Are they having a massive wobble?
    No wins in 6 now.
  • Well done Burnley on getting promotion, Kompany has done a great job there

    It's now a MASSIVE wobble.

Amazing how he has turned things around.

Huddersfield just gone ahead at Play-Off chasing Blackburn... Bit annoying as helps Millwall

Can Dean Holden spend the summer in the Company of Warnock and Hodgson.

Would love to know what it is about those two - The fact their Football philosopies have lasted the decades with Football having changed so much (think of the styles we've seen from Ferguson | Wenger | Mourinho | Guardiola etc.), and yet those two just know how to grind out results.

Edit: Make that 2-0 now, only 20mins gone though
  • Huddersfield have gone on a ludicrous run of wins, all against promotion chasing sides. Warnock is a genius of motivation
  • Is anyone surprised though really?

The day he was appointed, i knew Huddersfield would be safe. The guy is an incredible manager at that level.

  • Whoops... Least its good for both the relegation battle, and keeps Blackburn on Millwall's heels for now
  • Automatic promotion race is getting interesting in L1.
  • Couple of nice finishes by Gudmundsson last night.
  • Just seen that Burnley's top scorer is on loan from Southampton. Probably should've kept him.
  • Peterborough United has received a three-point deduction to be suspended until 31 December 2023 and been fined £50,000 after failing to comply with EFL Regulations.

  • Why the feck are nearly all penalties suspended until X date... e.g. Dont do it again or we'll be really miffed

Just hand out penalties, shouldnt be difficult to comply with EFL Regulations - I mean there are 72-clubs so the majority seem to cope okay
  • Just seen that Burnley's top scorer is on loan from Southampton. Probably should've kept him.
And Tom Cannon is on a great goalscoring run for Preston on loan from Everton, who are also desperately lacking up front
  • Cardiff 3-1 up at Watford at HT. Can't believe how poor Watford have been this season
  • Every result bar one going for scum ridiculous , it’s written in the stars

⭐️ jammy, spawny , filthy , scumbag , flat cap wearing , pie and mash eating ,  cnuting snuts , gonna creep in to play offs and win em ⭐️
  • Even more satisfying  when they lose in the playoffs at Kenilworth Road, held back by 2000 police officers.

Quite amusing that Rob Edwards was their Manager at the start of the season

Sacked for poor results, yet has taken Luton from 10th to 3rd - Thats when you really know the Manager isnt the issue
  • Pathetic set of results for the chasing twunts tonight , scum scooping up late goals in their favour as ever
  • Championship is a joke this season - really poor. However, West Brom win their game in hand and Millwall are down to 7th so there's still hope

  • Mini revival for West Brom but in turmoil , some ownership agg…
    look at blackburns patheticness

  • Unreal

this will be the poniest couple of teams to reach the play offs for the prem ever ffs and they’d be in with a chance 🤮
  • Anyway thanks for giving us some results to worry about, credit where it’s due 🥴
  • Don't forget Blackburn drew with Coventry, who can also make the playoffs

    3 points (65 - 62) between 5th and 11th.

Mental really when compared with the third tier. 17 points (73 - 56) separate the same number of teams.
  • West brom game in hand away at Sheffield United next week

Blackburn game in hand home against Burnley next week
  • literally handed a play off spot fffs
