Maybe if Garner is coming in and bringing his own set up then some other people at the club need to be spoken to and it's their compensation that's needs sorting which is perhaps why nothing is being announced yet0

Amazed at the amount of flags and bunting up the Mall these days, culminating at that huge house ,Buckingham Palace, according to my 1962 A-Z---- I said to this bloke, who are the folk on the balcony, that look like they have, spent big ,at the costume shop. He said dunno mate I'm waiting for Thomas Sandgaard to appear up there, and anounce the next Charlton manager3

Cawley said he has agreed a contract, doesn't say its signed/done deal. If he hasn't agreed a contract the hold up isn't compo for his staff is it?

Raelynn responded this morning - and whilst she regrets responding to Rich Cawley after a night indulging in fine wine and rich cuisine - she stands by her comments.
The main reason for the delay are Raelynn and Thomas's lingering concerns that Garner does not have sufficient BDE (Big Dick Energy) for the position. Apparently, this is one of the most important criteria for the role - and was even included as a bullet point on the job description.
Raelynn confirmed that they are still interviewing, and are looking for a candidate with a level of BDE that will "make your eyes water" (her words).
Interesting side note - apparently Nigel Adkins has BDE in spades. So much so, that Thomas would refuse to leave Adkins alone in a room with Raelynn.6 -
You couldn't make this up... You would think it was Klopp being brought in...
A few weeks ago it was Ben who... Now its the bloke thats going to save us!
So underwhelmed after a season to end seasons of total sh*t and now this.
It would be a tough ask to make most fans believe that we can pull off promotion this year but we live in hope.

Conor / Colin … Have you ever seen them in the same room? Hmmmn … 🤔1

Bravo @KiwiValleyQuantum mechanics is the meaning of life. The signing of Ben Garner can only happen when no one is watching. This is Heisenberg uncertainty principle meets Schrödinger's cat. Charlton's fate being linked to a random subatomic event that may or may not occur.
Agreed, we are on the same page as well as reading different books.
My grandad was a very wise sage and he wrote down 3 important life lessons:
Never pick a fight with an ugly man as he has nothing to lose.
Never play leap frog over a Ram.
When a journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step make sure the first step is in the right direction.

Roger Moore ?
That may be an idea from Dr Raelynn Maloney to her Middle age unhappy Clients seeking a new adventure in life.1 -
Totally unimpressed - a fourth tier, unproven coach who has won nothing. Is this REALLY the best we can do?
Our club is going backwards and I am disgusted we could not appoint a proven winner at this level14 -
‘Disgusted’

Hard to tell if you are being sarcastic as I haven't seen your posts before but Nigel Adkins was a two time Winner from League 1.
For any manager to be successful they need the owner, manager, coaches, players and ideally the fans to be together and pushing in the same direction. That will be so difficult to achieve at Cafc in 2022 with the myriad of opinions.

The most straightforward (but admittedly not simple) way to unify the club is to win matches, a lot of them, and accumulate points.

Sausagedog111 still confident it's Garner.9

You are good on research, I thought it was two with Southampton and Scunthorpe.
If it was 3 Promotions from League 1, was it Reading or Hull ? I thought they were Championship when Nigel was there but I haven't checked so please inform ?0 -
If you feed and try to look after your chihuahua, admittedly you will tell it to sit or stay or fetch on occasion, but you’re the owner of the dog, not it’s dictator.3
