Took a trip up town to walk The Mall and the West End streets before it gets too busy at the weekend. Fantastic stuff. Rule Brittania

That’s the only thing I miss about working in London.
My walk from the station to work was magnificent when there was any celebration on.
It always looks so wonderful 🤩♥️1 -
I'll be working at least 3 of the 4 days and expecting it to be a real busy one 🤞 London is looking beautiful these days.0

Happy days 😁
The morning was ok but the long table was put up in the garage just in case.
By the afternoon it was raining & I suppose the adults had had a few by then so we all piled out into the garden & played football.
It was a great day 😁0 -
The usual suspects are out in force on my social media newsfeeds keen to make as much fuss and noise as possible about how much they don't care about the monarchy etc
The only response I can think of to that is we aren't celebrating subjugation or the monarchy as a concept, this is acknowledging one womans dedication to doing a job, without moaning or bitching about it, into her mid nineties for 75 years
God save the Queen21 -

street party in full swing here.Little set by the neighbours, 5 bbq’s on the go. Fire brigade turned up for the kids to have a go with the siren which then made half the kids cry. Lovely atmosphere but keep nipping in to see the wickets.6

Went into Central London today with the other half. Was a last minute decision and glad we did it. The flyover was spectacular.

The queen really is a special person.
Doing the job for over 70 years....
I'd be the queen's Dave bond and she could be my M.
Going going queen. Keep at it and never give up ❤️

Lovely surprised to see a lad I went to school with being interviewed about his role in the flypast.4

Went to London for trooping the colour. Wife's office on Carlton terrace so overlooking the mall. Saw all the marching bands, the royals, and the fly last went right over our heads. Kids loved it.8

I can imagine the queen is currently listening to blondie heart of glass and she's about to do a couple of lines. Then she adds curbs to a royal wattsap group.3

Earlier on Thursday, the palace announced the Queen's son, Prince Andrew, will miss the service on Friday after he tested positive for COVID.
