League One in 1999 to beating Real Madrid in the Champions League in 2023, if they can do it so can Charlton!
I was just thinking about that Play Off game at Wembley against Gillingham.  Jeez.
  • Walkers pace is game changing.

We were 2 leagues above them 😪😪
  • Man City are ridiculously good aren't they!!!!
  • Got both this and the Championship Play-Off on, but got the audio for the latter... Was watching the Man City game for a second, and for a moment wondered which of the two teams Lenihan played for
  • Great save to keep City ahead
  • Silly good
  • 2-0 City. Hard to see Real coming back from this.

  • And that's 2... Madrid going to have to have their most ridiculous comeback yet
  • Beautiful header

To use a football cliche, the next goal is crucial.

As the commentator said a second after I typed it  :)

Topical because of where the final is and who the Inter manager is but this would be the best champions league come back since that one.
  • this is a proper going over at the mo, but knowing Real they’ll pop up and score
  • Real Madrid look like Charlton right now, utter dogshit.
  • Stones into midfield tactic is beautiful. Unfortunately England don’t have another CB to allow that.

They certainly can’t be ruled out in a CL game. But Man City are different gravy.
  • I would love to see this city side play Peps Barca.

I dunno, Ryan Inniss has a bit of time on his hands at the moment.

  • Thats one of the best 45 min performances I’ve seen considering the opposition and occasion.

Never ever seen a Real Madrid team dominated so utterly.

We ran Man U waaaay closer in the Carabao game.
  • Haha least we all agree
  • Dont think the referee can save Real Madrid here, even if he wanted to

Total and utter dominance.  This is Real Madrid FFS, not just any old team.
A very average Real side who have not looked great this season.

Agree but we know Real in Europe are different breed. We saw that first leg.

It's not a particularly good Real side - I think sides get intimidated by their history.
