League Cup rules state that the home team must give at least 10% of capacity to the away support.
So 7400 tickets available minimum.
Club has discretion to take less though. Nobody down there will have any idea of what we’ll want. They also have no experience at all of running a big away travel operation.
Surely they're not THAT stupid to refuse tickets?
No they just wont know how to organise any travel, so anyone getting tickets should be prepared to find their own way there
What time should I expect the coach to pick me up in Bradford 😉
I Will probably be first pick up, then Rochdale, then Dover.
Gutted, son was desperate for a home tie as midweek
Take him anyway. Tell the school it's educational. you're going on a pilgrimage.
Definitely! I took my son out of school for two days for our last big quarter final against Hartlepool last year and his education hasn’t suffered for it.
Just tell the school he’s got the dentist. Or a bad back.

If you said before the season started that we'd be playing Man U away in January, I'd be ecstatic, but also thinking we must've done alright in the first couple of rounds of the FA Cup. Not a League Cup quarter-final..!
Not sure there’s anyone at the club who could arrange it but I remember the Operation Ewood trip - all arranged coaches to Gatwick, flight up then coach to the ground…was all well planned…except the result…
honestly think I need to take a break from this place for a bit, we just got the basically plumb draw and all anyone wants to talk about is negative. Everyone always moans during these cup draws that we don't get the "big one" we just fucking got it - on a plate. Think some of you lot needs to give your heads a wobble if you can't see the draw of Man U away.

Have a word with the new COO can’t you Rick? Someone down there must be able to give you an introduction.

I’ve been doing the coach times for them for the last year… but no way am I organising this.
Bet the club will be stupid and wont run a Valley Away service...
Even if they do it'll probably be one or two coaches, especially if there is to be a Rail Strike!!
Back in 74 the only way to get up to Manchester was make your own way up there. Lewis Coaches said no coach travel due to too much trouble up in Manchester.
As I recall 9 of us back of Bedford van went up together . Cost of ticket seats 1 pound 10 pence .

There's a lot of mentally scarred people on here mate when it comes to Charlton, which is not entirely surprising.
But I agree. Not more than five mins after the draw and we've got people just trying to piss on the bonfire. Have an evening off.

I already have, and I will be having stern words with myself, I can tell you.
I drove from Edinburgh to Sheffield, leaving about 6.00am (been to the rugby at Murrayfield the day before).
I expect everyone who wants one and makes reasonable effort to get one will get one and we will take 7k+
Bring your vodka & your Charlie
…you’re not HR are you Bob?
