    being a bit computer illiterate, once I’ve downloaded say Opera how do I then find a stream for the game?

    Whilst no game, especially the first game, tells you everything. I think this one will tell us more than most due to the type of opponent. You may be an optimist or a predictor of doom, but you still have to see how unknowns pan out. Lets hope they pan out in our favour.

    You stream it from the club website like you would a typical midweek game, if you’ve ever done that before.

    All that Opera and/or VPN does is trick the website you’re visiting into thinking you’re in another country. Therefore you can access geo-restricted content. In this case, the official stream of the Accrington game.

    In Opera go to settings (top right) and scroll down and "switch on" VPN.  Then at the top you see a small VPN button.  Click on that and you can select between Asia/Americas or Europe.  Hope that helps.

    Thanks for the help but when I go into settings it doesn't give a switch on vpn option. Would it be called something else?

    After following all the steps, you might want to try specific locations instead of letting it choose the location for you. Just incase it automatically decides to put you in the UK&I…

    Well here we go finally the season starts, good luck to the Addicks today, maybe not as complete a squad as we’d like but we can only support the team in front of us,( yes even Albie if he plays😂)a win today with the prospect of a few new signings will be a great start and a big lift for everyone. Hopefully a performance to make the 800 travelling fans journeys home worth it. COYRS!!!!!!!!!!!!

    What miserable weather up here. My lad was like “have we turned up in another country” about 20 mins ago as the rain started to come down and it dropped by 4 degrees. Found a decent and pretty empty Starbucks to grab a decent wakey wakey (early start) coffee before heading into the Accrington area. The furthest north my lad has been which has acted as a trailer to all the away game destinations we passed on the way up… May be a very expensive season. Hope it will be worth it!
