Slightly surprised Ness isn't on the bench, more obvious full back cover than Chin

Don't think so. Chin is incredible.
Best lend it to AJ if its that good!
  • Jason Pearce on the commentary today, different, bi interested in his take on the game from the gantry..
Interesting slant to today's thread ...
Bloody hell, took quick by half, thought I had edited it in time...Doh!!
  • Watching Jes warm up, stopping high spinning passes on a sixpence. Hope he starts as well today as on Tuesday!

If he truly wants to be remembered as a Charlton player, then he needs to have a great debut - and then struggle to control a bag of cement in every game thereafter
  • Aware we have injuries but great to see a lot of youngsters in the squad.
  • Their keepers both look weak to their bottom right sides.

Who do we have left wing?
  • Pitiful crowd...

    Pitiful crowd...
Really is. But then we're a league 1 side with championship prices.

Also the bars are still rammed currently.

  • Crowd is a bit depressing, come on Sandgaard sort the prices out

"The defending isn't as good as last season's, they never really replaced their best player in the summer"  ;)
  • For goodness sake, how many years have they been playing variations of the "This Is The Valley" video?

When the video finishes that is the point the players should emerge from the tunnel and the Red, Red Robin kicks in.

I think they've managed to nail the timing about twice in all these years.

Gunter was always going to be a difficult player to replace to be fair

Could say we've not managed it either yet, especially as we're still forced to play Clare @ RB.

    Prove me wrong y'all

Hoped for better after the Plymouth game...
  • Eyes upon you on adrenaline
And a league debut, for Richard Chin
  • Pitiful crowd...
Bad traffic on M25  to the A2 & then A2 busy past Danson Pk.

    Also limited train service.

Then when you get here there is fuck all  to park.
  • No Jason Pearce on commentary as yet... He's stuck outside the Valley in traffic, as they're not letting cars in.
  • OK, off til full time. Good luck guys.

  • Cambridge deserve to get battered today, they're making us kick towards the Cupboard End first half.

He's not gonna be late on the ball again is he.. ;)
  • Dobson starting with a poor challenge.
  • That’s us fucked then - as a kid my biggest superstition was always we must kick towards the south stand first half

He'll rugby tackle a couple of coppers and stewards on his way to the gantry.

Early header won in our box... Ball goes over, with Wollacott not overly troubled

All came from us trying to be too clever with our kick off
  • Nice build up down our left, results in a cross but Fraser cant get enough on the header to trouble Cambridge
  • Charlton B 1-0 Rochdale.
  • Rak-Sakyi looks like he's got about three Cambridge players covering him when he has the ball

Hmm... Was Advantage or Free Kick better?

Morgan taken out at the end of their area, ball had been put out wide to Rak-Sakyi though, so could have been left to see if the ball could be whipped into the area instead.
