Lincoln were awful and we matched them. A boring 0-0 played out by two mid table sides. Not a bad result for a team who's aim is to finish 14th - time to reset expectations as that's the best we can expect with the guitar wanker in charge.

Drawing every game should keep us up at least
  • I thought we had the 4th biggest budget in L1. What are you spending it on Tommy?
  • No point looking up, this is where the action is.

We are quite simply, a side that is unable to score and Lincoln are the same, against a better side then our weak defence would be found out too.

Garner did say it will take sometime for his methodology to sink in to the team and that we are not good enough for the top six.
He is right. We just have to get through another season in this dreadful league.

Well worth waiting and then blowing our entire budget to get Garner. Slow, boring football full of draws.  Players are not great but over half of L1 would be delighted with the first 11 that started for us today, yet we are 18th.  It is miles from good enough.

Need to save the money but every away game I get sucked back in.

Not good enough and this season is clearly a write off. I don’t think we will go down but it’s not off the table. TS needs to invest in the team in January or sell the club because this isn’t working at all.
Who would join us in January if we are in a relegation battle ?

The time to recruit players is before the season starts when everyone is starting with a clean slate. Now players will be able to pick & choose which team to join......if there are any players out there that are worth signing that is.

And we get told every January that the winter transfer window is NOT the one you want to be signing players in.  Players will be overpriced (Ha ! If only we will be spending any money) or clubs will have us over a barrel.

Burton, Morecambe and FGR will probably be down there for the whole season, but got to expect Oxford and MK to pick up at some point. Hopefully we do too.

Charlton are the shiny new Christmas toy Sandgaard was excited to receive that has now been moved firmly to the back of the toy cupboard.
Expect to see us on Gumtree very soon.
A bit like woody in toy story.
Just waiting for Buzz Lightyear to come and save us.

    To infinity and beyond.

As good as it gets I suppose. Definitely regressed as a club. Other than Aneke coming back, there is nothing else. Won't be too appealing for any potential signings in January. Realistically TS isn't going to invest. Can't really say roll on next season because there is a total lack of ambition.

I don't blame Garner but not sure what he is doing with CBT is working and Rak Sakyi seems to be going backwards fast. Surely he has to address that.

Poor game overall. Neither side looked like they wanted to win. been convinced wed stay up all season, but our inability to turn draws into wins is starting to concern me.

Random thought - CBT is a talented player on his day, but he looks like he's completely given up. Can't see him playing too many more games for us
No one gives up like that, surely?
He fought hard to get a chance with us, but many more performances like that and he’s finished. I doubt he’s got a nice job on the trading floor lined up though, so he must be desperate to do well.
It’s either nerves, or general lack of confidence I reckon. Do we have a sports psychologist? I doubt it.

2 wins in 12 league games.
8 league games since a win.
Only 15 goals scored in those 12 games.
Only 2 clean sheets kept in those 12 games.
2 points above the relegation zone.
    One shot on target.

In League One. IN LEAGUE FUCKING ONE!!!

There are no positives to be found in this bollocks.
15 goals in 12 games with 5 (a third) coming in just 1 game. So 10 goals in 11 games.

And this is from a manager who plays attractive attacking football.

But then again we did all ask where the goals were going to come from. We lost 2 attacking players and didnt recruit any & most if the midfield were here last season. The only worthy addition to the attacking side if things has been JRS.

And people wonder why we are struggling. I wont say I told you so......

Actually I will. Perhaps in future people might listen when a few of us say before the season starts that we haven't strengthend enough.

Hard to score goals when you haven't had a proper striker all season.

Just a donkey and a kid up front.

Listened to the game....about as exciting as watching paint dry. Forget the officials in this League they are crap in every game!
We are poor...end of....I thought 442 may just may give us the spark we needed...how fucking stupid was I?
From a huge TS supporter, the last few months have shown I was wrong...it takes a big man to admit you were wrong....If only TS would do the same, then maybe we might avoid relegation, because at this rate that's where we are heading!
We need investors to join us rapidly and a UK football wise CE, .......TS its fucking obvious!

It is pathetic how our owner approached this season.

You can't expect us to do any better than last year with what we signed.

Relegation isn't guaranteed to be avoided at this rate.

    We are shit.

    Very.

Garner’s probably an all right manager, so was Jacko.  At least they are/were not the majority of the problem.  The problems, including the rumoured academy budget cuts, start and end with this owner and key backroom staffing/C suite, or lack of it.  There’s something really not right, and it wasn’t that difficult to spot a low Div3 struggle/relegation threat from the signings this year.

And here he is again - you can set your watch by him.

Acting like he's the only person on earth who thought we needed more strikers.  "Look at me .... I told you so ..." zzzzzzz

Torn between not giving a shit and being really angry. Going with the former. Who really cares if we go down? Can't be much worse that this. Just have to cut our cloth accordingly. Was always going to happen once you let a premier league shaped wolf into the chicken coop. And will never get back to how it was. Get used to it and try and enjoy it. We're 3rd/4th tier, soon to be semi-pro....so what? What you going to do switch clubs?

If the team can't score against Lincoln then they really are hopeless. It's ok to drop points every now and again in this league but this is now becoming the norm. It is beyond pathetic.

No disrespect to Lincoln for suggesting they are absolute nobodies who we should easily be tearing apart but from our end, the whole thing is farcical now

Sandguard and everyone surrounding him have to fuck off

Jackson just lost 3-1 to Walsall just so everyone is aware.

Wimbledon have conceded 13 goals in 7 games. The 2nd worst total in League Two.

Agree about the ownership though of course. He is the problem, not those below him.
  • Exeter game is big, a good performance and a win might just kick start our season. A loss however or even a draw will send us closer to the R zone.

The team needs some consistency do not make lots of changes to starting 11 Garner.
By the time we play Portsmouth we could easily be in the relegation zone.
  • Stating the obvious here but we are in a relegation battle . I think we keep assuming things will improve but this team is awful, I can’t see it,
we are making last seasons squad look like world beaters . Recruitment has been woeful.
