Middlesex will leapfrog us if they win and we fail to and they will have a game in hand too. Our only hope is that come September we have a full squad to pick from and they start to perform at their best.
Billings is playing on Friday in a 50 over game for the 2nd XI against Essex. Which is bizarre given that he won't be playing for us in the 50 over comp and hasn't played any of the 2s game all season
