Our high press has uncorked Fraser for sure. The formation where both he and Morgan have a sort of free role (so long as they track back) is really suiting him. It's a very good formation for the players we have

Do you know, Leuthy ...... you've hit the nail on the head.
Play your best players, in their best positions, in the best formation to get the best out of what you have.
Holden doing his sailor impersonation on a ship in a gale again in his interview. Its weird - he just can't stand still!
Has he still got that look in his eyes of a man who’s just realized he’s left the TV on and tuned to Babestation and needs to get home before the wife does?

Almost like for the most part they were recruited for 4-3-3.
I wonder if this, finally, is the transfer window when a relegation threatened Championship club gambles on CBT...
I don’t think they would - he is clearly someone who struggles with the mental side of the game - and that is not conducive with the pressure of coming into a team fighting against relegation.

Long as he keeps the winning ratio, he can do a bloody break dance and end with a head spin, the guy has got us winning and believing in ourselves again which is just great, just looking forward to Barnsley next week for us to do the hat trick, the Old Trafford visit is just a day out where will give them a game I am sure..
Blimey wind and torrential rain incredible last 15 mins how we defended in them conditions was brilliant … Throught first half we were excellent and perhaps half time came at the wrong time .. two good goals Fraser and CBT . Games turn on moments Inniss block stopping Lincoln going one up was top drawer. Second half again we missed a guilt edge chance to kill the game again Raki and then Leaburn both missed a clear chance . Lucky we did not live to regret it .. in the end a win a win and important given our next two home games against teams we very rarely do well against ..

Gotta be pleased with the win. Relegation a lot more distant than before Christmas. Why oh why cant we just give someone a resounding 3 or 4 nil thumping?
Two good performances and results, making the Oxford shambles even more annoying!
As everyone said, today was the important game. Winning today means that everyone can go up to OT on Tuesday and enjoy the occasion, whereas if we had lost today, then there would have been a real edginess about our position in the league, and being sucked into a relegation fight.

Back to back wins is great and I was unsure how the players would approach today with the game on Tuesday. I think we played some neat stuff first half. Second half was a bit league one scrapesque, but we still defended well and created chances. Don’t think anyone played below par, with Fraser the standout.
Landed back in Oz this afternoon, and after a kip on the settee I nearly forgot the game was on. We're definitely playing more of the Charlton way under Dean. We are battling more, and have smatterings of skill and class. I like what he's brought so far. He's added a toughness, which is what we're all about.
We've lost these types of games previously, or had a win snatched away with a last minute goal, and it nearly happened again, but not tonight, and I feel that's really important. We've missed that rub the green, and that really helps confidence. The starting 11 all did well tonight after a slow start. As for the individual performances, Fraser and Leaburn are bloody good aren't they! As too our captain. I hope we can hang onto miles for next season.
Another thing I've noticed defensively, is they've clearly been given to the message to keep it simple, if there's a threat, smack it into the stand, and we can reset. I know it can be seen as rudimentary, but this is league 1 football, and we're a league 1 team at the moment. I like that approach. It's no nonsense footy, and we need that right now to pull clear of the scrap we might of found ourselves in without these 2 wins on the bounce.
Finally I'd just like to add that although I only got to 1 game this time over, family commitments and the festive season catch ups clashed with other games, it was the Brighton one, and that one evening completely restored my love of this club, and our fans. Although I'll always be Charlton, I'd become rather disgruntled about it all thanks to TS and his idiotic ways, and that was hurting me.
So a massive thank you to all of you who were there that night, we showed how bloody brilliant Charlton can be with a full valley, with pride and passion in abundance on and off the pitch.
I hope most of you get to go to Old Trafford and have a brilliant night, regardless of the scoreline.
We are still very poor defensively. Neither of our full backs are great at defending and both CBs look terrified when in possession.
A game we should have won comfortably but finishing needs to improve and some of the decision making by our forward players needs to be better. We have plenty of pace and played some good stuff but continue to be fragile.

I think the biggest difference under Holden is that he’s allowing Fraser to get forward. He was completely wasted in a deeper role.

Fraser, Dobson and Leaburn are top class
Fraser my man of the match.

I was convinced Lincoln would grab an equaliser.
