    Tough set to lose. After a shaky start, Raducanu is going toe to toe with Gauff, playing some really good shots.

    Fine margins against a good opponent, although Coco Gauff wasn't at her best.

    Very unfortunate defeat for Emma - that level is good enough to beat almost anyone.

    Gauff continues her unbeaten start to 2023.

    Problem is the crash she has had since winning the US Open has hammered her ranking - so it is very difficult to build confidence and momentum up again when you are playing top players in round 2 of slams.

    Tennis version of the football fact thread:

    Didn't realise Venus Williams has only ever been ranked World No.1 for a total of 11 weeks.

    It's less than Ivanovic (12), Jankovic (18), Safina (26), Wozniaki (71).

    Probably just shows how quickly Serena went past her, but thought it was surprising!!
