  • Simply amazing stuff from Andy Murray - to not only last the entire match (the longest of his career) with a metal hip, but go out and win against one of the most in form players over the last couple of months is nothing short of momenutal.

He's going to have a really tough time against Bautista Agut on Saturday but have no doubts that he's going to give it everything he's got.

The way the draw has opened up in that quarter is simply amazing, seven unseeded players and Bautista Agut (24th seed). It means one of those players is going to get to a semi-final and if Murray can pull off another improbable win in a couple of days, there's no reason it couldn't be him.

Is it Djokovic he would meet in the Semi-Finals, givens they both played today?

Can't see him beating Bautista after these two exhausting games - hopefully he will prove me wrong. Lost to him in straight sets in their last match.
  • Interviewer: “You must have big everything”
Murray: “That’s not what my wife says.”

Superb match from Andy. God knows how he recovers from two five setters now though.
  • Difficult first set for Cam Norrie but he pulls through to win it 10-8 in a tie break. Hopefully he can push on and up his level from here on.
  • What time does Andy Murray play?

According to the Australian Open website, Murray and Bautista Agut are due to take to the court at 7pm local time, meaning viewers in Britain can expect the match to begin at around 8am on Saturday.

  • Murray needs to get his body moving or this match will be over before it has even started.
3-0 down in the 1st set and has only won 1 point so far.
  • 3-1
    He's getting started.

    Really needed that.
  • Murray needs to hope that there is someone in the crowd called Dorothy and that she has an oil can with her because he really is looking like The Tin Man at the moment.

  • After previously losing 17 points in a row on the Bautista Agut serve Murray breaks to love to level up the 2nd set at 4-4.

...... and then holds his serve to go 5-4 up.
  • The ebb and flow in some tennis games can be just as wild as in football.

I suppose it shows how much mentality plays as well as talent and physicality.
  • Murray showing fighting spirit to hold serve 6-5.
  • 2nd set goes to tie-break.
  • Incredible
  • Murray wins tie-break 9-7 to level the match.
    Wow, didn't see that coming.
  • Wow, amazing tennis, well done Murray, one set all.
So many hours of entertainment he’s given us over the years.
    Majority of crowd supporting Murray.
