Dean Holden probably isn't superstitious, but he'll make a very angry man tonight much happier is he were to commit to saying training has been utter crap before games in future as saying it's been good guarantees defeat
Penney and Inniss both seem like pub footballers. If they were playing for, say, Welling would be thinking we should sign them?
Disagree that this was a bad day in the office for Penney. He looks incapable of crossing the ball, or even just generally being able to kick it with a decent technique.
I understand the frustration with Bonne, but the service in today was dire.
a really poor performance but what an awful game. In total about 20 added minutes. The physios were about the best performers, on the pitch as much as players.
And how two different set ups in two windows thought that Macaulay Bonne is what we need I will never know. Must have been a Sandgaard Junior black box special
No idea how to beat these fucking cloggers but let’s see if pissing about sideways and backwards will conjure up a gap for some magic for CBT or Raksak as we have nothing else. Nothing else at all.
I’m not going to watch League 1 football anymore, I’m out…
I don't often post my post match thoughts here but needed to today.
We were slow and lethargic literally no energy about our build up play it was horrible to watch.
CBT is a one trick pony and every club knows it now, as soon as he gets the ball he will try to cut inside, he needs to mix it up and cut outside a few times otherwise defenders know exactly what he is gonna do.
The Inniss red was never a red from where I was and he will get blamed and criticism for it but I haven't seen it again and until I do(and if I am wrong I will hold my hands up) imo it was never a red.
And finally
PENNEY is one of the worst players I have ever seen in a Charlton shirt, send him back now please

But he isn’t costing a pretty Penney so that’s all that counts, eh?
Penneys second touch was a sliding tackle, managed to hurt himself losing the ball that lead to Innis red.
Sess makes no effort to get back as their 2nd guy steams past him. , leaving Iniss to deal with it. My angle at game was almost the same as the video, doesn't look a foul to me, therefore no offence.
yo-yo Addicks or is it see-saw Charlton ? .. up and down our only consistency is our inconsistency .. Innis ? .. justified Red or is he a name the referees are looking for ?

Even if it was a foul he wasn’t the last man. Shocking descision IMO , but the ref was awful all match.
Anyway, we were fairly beaten by a better side and we were woeful. We keep losing at home to utter dross. But, i believe we are in our perennial restructuring phase. Lost interest in the game just after half time and took the dog for a walk, which he enjoyed. Sun’s out, pool’s warm and I am not letting this ruin my weekend as I expect little from this lot and am therefore only marginally peeved. We have only rustled up 3 pages of post match comments, which reflects the malaise adequately displayed by the gents in red today. Stockley must be having several drinks on the way home.
Innis is a liability. It wasn’t a red as Ness was covering but it’s a poor challenge and he doesn’t get the ball, asking the ref to make a decision. The transfer business of clearing the deadwood now bites us in the arse as we are left with an unfit Hector or Thomas who isn’t good enough unless one of the academy boys can step up.
We want a LB, watching Jordan Zemura, playing for Bournemouth at LB, who we had as a youth for about eight years and released him. Now in Premier League

Not just Penney who cannot cross a ball, JRS and CBT hardly distinguished themselves in that regard. Compare with the number of reasonable crosses that Fleetwood were able to make.
