Thing is with decent players around them who knows how Kirk and DJ might perform but I agree, times up.3

Campbell, Kanu, Asiimwe, Elerewe, Mitchell, Anderson, Henry. Bringing in a couple more to allow these lads to go out on loan would be nice.
We could do with one more striker, one more centre back or one more wing back but otherwise we're risking a bloated squad that carries a lot of players that don't get minutes.1 -
Been a while since we signed squad players, to improve our options, rather than make our existing starting 11 look less shit.4

I said last night that we were half way there, now it looks like it's 6 down 4 to go.
My expectation is we will see a striker in in the next 7 to 8 days.
Then a right wing back after the season starts.
Then two very late in the window.
That's based on the fact no one who is figured in leaves in the mean time, then it's all bets off.14 -
We were close to signing Dabo so we’ll definitely be looking at that position. We definitely need a striker, possibly two. Holden will be up to speed on the status of Aneke and if that’s as we all expect it then I can definitely see two strikers on the wanted list. Probably one a PL loan. After that I think it’s going to depend who we shift out.6
-
I think we definitely need another striker (Nombe would be perfect) and a right winger just in case the wing back system breaks down or needs changing during a game.
Midfield & Defence looks pretty sown up although maybe another right back.
Then the likes of Henry & Chin can go out on loan. Not sure about Kirk, DJ & Magrandles though. Depends on how big a squad we can carry.2 -

Shame Taylor will have been out for approx 5 months, but as long as we can keep out current CMs, that will be fine as we are building a squad.1
-
Right. Now concentrate on a striker. What news of Taylor.9

Striker is the next big piece, just wonder if it's going to be someone for a fee or if a PL loan will come in.0
-
Its got to be a big physical dominating strong striker abit like Aneke but one that isnt always injured
think we can see kanu is not ready yet after his chances in pre season and with leaburn still not close to being fit we need 2 in the door i would say ! 1 perm and a loan will do

Yes, we could do with a striker but not any old striker. I think the qulaity we have in midfield allows us to play one up front and Fraser can be a number 10. I can't think which striker we might go for unless it is a megabucks signing. I think we will be able to play through most League One sides, even the better ones so a new striker needs to be decent on the ball.0

The fact we went in for Dabo highlights that Dean wants another RWB though.
I’m worried that Egbo doesn’t seem the same player as when he first joined & if so we can’t just rely on a kid (Asiimwe) all season.
It would make alot of sense to bring back Sess in light of his ability to cover left & right.0 -
Egbo hasn't looked as 'all action' as he did in his first few appearances.5

Another surreal day where many positives happened and I found two dopelgangers for Greg Shield's in his younger days in Callum Guy of Carlisle and Ryan Duncan of Aberdeen and it turns out it's someone who looks nothing like Greg Shield's but talks Scottish 🤷🏻♂️ in Terry Taylor.
I will let Swisdom off because I don't think he had his glasses on.
