I don't know a huge amount about Etete but it looks like he picked up towards the end of the season when he had more of a run in the team. He's young but he's played a season of Championship football. Would be an interesting one
Based on Cardiff responses to this it sounds as if Cardiff are trying to get Kieffer Moore from Bournemouth which would open up the possibility of Etete leaving.

I'd certainly prefer Etete from the (very little) that I know of either. But the idea of actually having a back up plan sounds a little bit too much like competence for this lot.

Heaney, along with signings like Sacha Ilic, Danny Mills, Eddie Youds, Mark Bright, etc, came in and transformed a promising side into promotion achievers.
