    Depends on the script…

Pre-match team huddle…’right lads, we can either go for a 4th place spot and Champions league football, or we can go all out to wind Spurs up…’

I’ve seen the script Spurs hand deliver the title to Arsenal tomorrow night ffs
if not the east end stadium ponces will do it
  • Good to see Harvey Elliott getting regular game time for Liverpool now. He's really blossomed in the last few weeks.
  • Great comeback by Villa 3-3.

Great entertainment on the pitch. Love seeing Liverpool throw a game away.

Commentator is an absolute prick though. I bet he’s been saving up the “Duran Duran - Notorious” line all season. Just commentate on the game you utter wanker.
  • Cracking end this

  • 9 mins of injury time - I want to go to bed!
  • I'm afraid that Liverpool's capitulation is possibly down to Klopp's four substitutions - taking off 40% of the outfield players in one go had a bit of a disruptive affect

Why are you afraid about that? I think it's great the toothy bastard and the bin dippers have been found out recently. No fairytale ending for them and he can shuffle off and take his ridiculous excuses with him
  • It will be really interesting how Spurs approach the game tomorrow. A draw will do neither side any good now, so I imagine Spurs will be a bit gungho, knowing that a win keeps the chance of CL football, while a defeat effectively gives the title to City.

    Anything but a draw...

A shame Rio Ferdinand wasn't alongside him

Spurs are the only team of the 92 clubs in the League not to draw at home this season too. Conclusion: lump on the draw!
  • If Man City nick an early goal then Spurs will really have to open up and go for it to get a win which could play into Cities hands.

    Away win 0-3
  • Don’t know if true but someone told us Man City were staying at Marriott Waltham Abbey and on one of the wanky WhatsApp groups I’m on a mate showed fireworks going off at 1.43am near the hotel

Have you seen Spurs play? They've been a bit gungho all season!

They've only kept 2 clean sheets since October (both away) and only 2 at home all season.

The twat also described the two Duran scored as “Goals on Film” at the end of the game. (The only saving grace here is that it reminded me of the video for the song…)

I don’t really know why it is that commentators joshing with the co-commentator or inserting preplanned ‘witty’ comments riles me so much. Maybe it’s because I just think they should focus more on describing the action and less on trying to be funny or engaging or whatever.
  • As if Pep didn't need to "fire(works) up" his squad anyway. There's brainless but giving them an added incentive takes things to a whole new level.

It was Jack Grealish after a few sherbets.

JohnBoy what’s the whole fan base view on tomorrow nights game   Say villa don’t win tonight and it’s a chance for champs league

    In % please
It's really mixed.  I honestly don't know.  Have seen so many different opinions.

For those of us that have followed Spurs 30-40 years and have suffered at the hands of Arsenal under Wenger, then we throw it.

But so many seem to think CL football is the be and end all.

All of us would have snapped your hand off for 5th (if we beat Shef Utd last day its guaranteed regardless of the result against City), so take it and be happy.

If you want a %, I reckon its 70-30 in favour of throwing the game against City.  I honestly thought it would be greater than that.
Well I've actually just seen a first poll being done properly...

Its a lot lot closer than I thought it would be!

(EDIT - yes, I have noticed it doesn't add up to 100% lol, ignore the % and just look at the share of votes!)
  • The reason the %s don't add up is because the votes total 138 and not 133 as stated so it's 52.2% "Yes" and 47.8% "No". Spurs fans eh!
  • The ground will be segregated tonight, City supporters, then fans who want totteringham to lose and the ones who want them to win.
  • I really hope Spurs take the lead tonight, to see the anguish it will cause  :D
