I have nothing but praise for Finch. He's a superb example of a someone who has been "released" from professional sport but been absolutely determined to fight his way back and he's actually re-invent himself to achieve this in becoming a batsman/keeper as opposed to the batsman/seamer which he was at Sussex. Not only was he prepared to play for a season for the 2nd XI before earning a contract but was also happy to turn out for the Academy side that played club sides on Sundays a couple of seasons ago. Hope he kicks on from here.
Great recovery that. Evison needs to improve his bowling, but is a decent batsman
Agreed and he's probably batting too low at the moment because he's invariably having to nurse the tail.
Parkinson's knock of 25 was only 5 short of his highest score from 103 innings in the professional game. He should be banging on Walks' door demanding that he bats above Gilchrist!
"Despite the best efforts of Club staff & ECB technicians overnight & this morning, we're unable to provide sound on the Live Stream for this match." We do seem to suffer more than most other counties with technology failings.
