Southampton have a chance cleared off the line 3-2 down in the 95th minute!0

            Haha!
*Michael Keane comes on and clearly signals to his teammates that it’ll be a back 5.*
Jamie Carragher: “It’ll definitely be a back 4”
*Everton line up with a back 5*
Carragher: “Yeah, it’s a back 5”
Know nothing prick. 😂4 -
What a class goal by Kulusevski with a sublime 1st touch over 5 defenders.
Spurs have many talented players but they are a naive team which Ange have to take responsibility for.
Great ball in my Moore and a good 2nd goal.
At least Spurs won't get booed off after getting two goals back. 3-2 FT.
Man Utd lose their 4th home game out of 5 against Brighton 1-3 and if they hadn't mugged Southampton, it would be 5 straight home defeats.
Amorim looks clueless to me so far but he's more of a head coach than a manager and the politics at the Global brand Man Utd makes it a tough gig.
David Moyes got sacked when he finished 7th.1 -
I think United as a club are too broken for anyone to succeed. Amorim was one of the names linked to every big vacancy and I'm sure he'll be successful somewhere else but there's so much wrong at United on and off the field that I can't see him ever sorting this out.3

They're both targeting Championship League football...Fortune 82nd Minute said:Football is not giving me a lot of pleasure watching Charlton at the moment but by heavens, I'm enjoying looking at the PL table and seeing both United and Tottenham sitting down with the also runs!
Can only be a matter of time until Champions League qualification is changed if these two keep missing out!2 -

Probably not the interim manager they want, but the man that club needs.North Lower Neil said:Feels like Ange's last game, this.

Who knows, Amorim may be the man. But he's got a load of dross to get rid of first before he can start moulding the club the way he wants to.
In the meantime, sit back and enjoy United's misery. And all the United fans in Surrey phoning in moaning about how awful things are.1 -

We have one in our Essex office... known him for decades - went from Man U to City like it was no big deal (its all Manchester right!? I WISH I was making this up!). Never been to a game in his life, but always the first person to bring up football on a Monday morning. He's been City for long enough now that the newbies in the office don't know - I just roll my eyes.se9addick said:Fortune 82nd Minute said:

Certainly up until the last few years, I rarely saw anyone wearing a City shirt in London. (And I suspect much of their support came from Manchester and the surrounding areas). But as @fenaddick says, you certainly see a lot more people wandering around in City shirts these days in London.
And that's one of the reasons why we need to get back on an upward trajectory urgently before we lose another generation of support as let's be honest for most kids there isn't much street cred in supporting Charlton atm and it's so easy just to declare yourself a fan of one of the big boys.1 -

Are you saying he made this switch in adulthood? I understand little kids flip flopping from one team to another. I’d say it’s pretty basic childish behaviour. But a grown adult? Maybe it’s just me, but I find that really weird.Manic_mania said:

Only adult I have known to switch teams is one who finally "grew up" in early 20's and swapped Man Utd for AFC Wimbledon as his local team.
In fact my usual line when some Londoner says they follow Liverpool is "haven't you grown out of that yet".0 -
What's with footballers playing it across their own defence like that? One of the first things you're taught in football, particularly if you play at the back, is to never pass the ball across the face of your own goal. Stupid3

I don’t really advocate switching teams, but that one is more acceptable than the other way round.Athletico Charlton said:lordromford said:

It’s probably because I was at school in the 90’s/early 00’s when United were at their peak. Went to school in SE London and there were more fans of United than Charlton & Millwall combined. Didn’t realise that was happening with kids supporting City now, supporting your local team really should be part of the national curriculum.fenaddick said:
