  • Not sure if Everton are getting the famous new manager bounce or if Spurs are really shit !
  • Havertz patting his belly to say the ball hit it , what a bellend , there’s a squillion cameras you cock we can all see it hit your hand
It’s peculiar how players in VAR games still argue with the ref claiming stuff like this that’s just not true. Along with diving and feigning injury, I really wish the powers that be would stamp down more on this.
It doesn’t help, of course, that Arsenal showed a (carefully selected?) inconclusive replay of the incident on the stadium big screen causing everyone in the stadium to think VAR had fucked up.

Arsenal should be fined for that.
I've never been overly upset by Arsenal, but I think they've become really unlikeable under Arteta
Early on last night, ball went out for a throw that was given to Villa, he started waving his arms around and venting at the fourth official for which he quite rightly got a yellow card.

Mind you our manager is similar.

  • I'll post up what I put in our whatsapp group this morning...

    Surprise surprise.

    Cant keep blaming the injuries.

That 45 mins was worse than the first half up at Newcastle under Stelini (post Conte!)

    Ange has to go now.

Make no mistake, we're in danger of going down and we deserve it.
  • There's an incentive for us to get to the playoffs, playing Spurs next season.
  • So John Boy who would be the front runners for the Spurs job?
  • Feels like Ange's last game, this.

    Dowie
  • Christ they’re awful & it’s painful watching it with a Spurs fan.
I won’t be sad to see big Ange go tbh. He really is a miserable barsteward. Why’s he even in football? He never looks like he enjoys it.

Does it really matter who the manager is?
No manager can succeed under Levy.

What manager in their right mind would work for him? Ange was 4th or 5th choice last time round, wasnt he?

To answer your question, I dont know.  I really dont know.

Feels like Ange's last game, this.
As much as I dont like seeing managers sacked, it felt like his time was up way before Christmas.  It felt like he was done at that Coventry league cup game.

But taking injuries into account, when you think Redknapp and Conte was sacked in 4th, Mourinho 5th and 4 days before a cup final and Nuno 8th, makes you wonder how Ange has survived this long.
  • Brighton are so good, the cross for their second just now was incredible
  • Havertz patting his belly to say the ball hit it , what a bellend , there’s a squillion cameras you cock we can all see it hit your hand

Same here. I’d still rather they won the league than the mickeys though.
  • Convinced Southampton are beating the record for lowest points. They are so so so bad.
  • Spurs would be mad not to go for the Bournemouth manager.
  • Spurs would be mad not to go for the Bournemouth manager.
I would love him but he would be mad to leave Bournemouth to come to this utter crock of shite right now.
  • Spurs would be mad not to go for the Bournemouth manager.
and equally he’d be mad to go there. The recruitment at Spurs is often suspect and at Bournemouth he has a squad built for his style of play. Remember it took a while to click at Bournemouth and Spurs will be looking for a silver bullet quick improvement

I really like big Ange, but I think Spurs will be looking for a new manger soon
As a neutral, Ange is great value, both from an entertaining football perspective and his post match interviews. But I feel like his gung-ho approach to games would only work if the team you manage is dominant in its league, like say, Celtic.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see him gone soon though. This season is turning into a disaster.
  • Spurs would be mad not to go for the Charlton manager.

  • Onana just had a howler, maybe United and Spurs can go down together?

Is it just me or are most goalkeepers of a far lower standard than a few years back? Seems likes there's so much emphasis put on being able to use their feet, that they can't do the GK basics
I think some of it is they make a lot of things look easy that looked hard 10 years ago. Technique and starting position has improved loads but this makes the howlers look 100x worse

    Did you lumpon?
  • Football is not giving me a lot of pleasure watching Charlton at the moment but by heavens, I'm enjoying looking at the PL table and seeing both United and Tottenham sitting down with the also runs!

Can only be a matter of time until Champions League qualification is changed if these two keep missing out!

Keepers and centre backs are  now expected to be comfortable on the ball, centre forwards are now expected to do lots of pressing...

You mean there’ll be some effort from the big sides in Europe to ensure their own success at the expense of everyone else? Sounds like the sort of thing Real Madrid and Barcelona might get involved in…😉
