NJ: "Us and Birmingham are the best two pressers in the league so we are front-footed and going after teams. We're just not taking chances at the minute. I'm sure that will change. We're not capitalising on the clean sheets at the minute."
I thought that was a joke, just seen it’s a genuine quote.
I’m laid up at home with a stomach bug, shivers, the s**** and feel wiped.
Sounds like I had a better afternoon than anyone at the game
I had a stomach bug a couple of weeks ago, lost 1/2 st in 4 days and wiped me out, since then I’ve picked up a chest infection on antibiotics ( first time in 15 years) and to top it all off was coughing coming down the stairs and missed the last three and done my knee this morning. Tried to walk to the station to go to the game.
Decided to turn around and go home, watch it on TV and it was the best decision I made in a while.
Hopefully you’re through the worst of it. This thing came out of nowhere y’day. I was going to go today as well 😂

We were dreadful in the first half and should have been behind. We improved a fair bit in the second but are still pretty toothless. I am still trying to work out how we didn't get a penalty though.
I’m clearly going to be in a massive minority here, but I thought Leaburn made a big difference to the second half, and showed glimpses of what a good player he could become. He did more in his first five minutes than Godden did in the first 45. Shame he missed the one on one though. And speaking as someone who nearly didn’t bother to turn up today (it was the nice weather that tipped the balance) at least I saw a second half improvement that lifted the crowd.
With that sort of effort we’ve had a few decent results this season (Bolton, Birmingham), but what it highlighted today was our lack of quality.
Kanu just couldn’t control the ball, and Anderson who gave 100% today, just slipped up at crucial moments.
Tyreece also gave everything, but again lacked the finishing touch that might make a difference.
Towards the end of the first half it was getting toxic again, and you could see the players’ heads going down; but fair play to them for the second half. Perhaps with more quality on the pitch we’d be winning games like this easily.
An appalling refereeing display by the way. There were three shouts for penalties which, on another day, might have resulted in one being given.
Only 54 long balls (passes of 35 yards or longer) attempted in the match which is our lowest number since the opening day of the season against Wigan (52).
What’s the league average? And how does it look game by game for us?
First game I've been to this season. Shocked at how lazy one or two players have gotten - giving up on balls they should have easily won and on one occasion a defensive player giving up a cross that the attacker had no right winning by just wanting it more (which should have resulted in a goal)
There's a real lack of effort thar I found very jarring even beyond the lack of quality.
Finally got on top then Jones made subs and Berry came on. Instead on providing a goal though, Berry slowed things down and was absent. Jones then brought on more forwards and we lost what shape we had.
I know we were chasing a goal but it was a bit subs for subs sake.
It’s on Jones again but apart from Lloyd Jones and Coventry (the second half one), our players are technically shite. Bad recruitment and the Academy are probably more suited to League 2.

A crap game with no quality on show from either side. The ref was probably the worst I have seen, atleast 2 neck holds that did not result in free kicks.
Gillesphey constantly proves he’s not good enough for the team. No intensity, too many missed passes and not keeping up with the play. Would rather see Dan Potts playing there.

I keep being told that Championships are built on clean sheets so I'm expecting top 2 by May.
Piss poor team and performance and Jones has built a terrible side. What an anticlimax of a season and not even Christmas.
