If he can get back to the player he was when he broke through at Derby that's a very good move. Has gone off the boil since.1 -

I think they're limited to frees and loans only if I recall.0 -

Yes, an embargo. In the summer window they only signed Chem Campbell on loan. That was only allowed as they sold Azeez to Millwall and were short of squad players. They have now given debuts to a number of kids so the EFL view their squad as complete I believe and may not even allow them to renew the Chem Campbell loan. Unless their fortunes change or their squad shrinks through sales they will be unlikely to sign anyone.3 -

Readings owner absolutely hates them and it's extremely unlikely they'll sign any players.
Stevenages owner isn't particularly wealthy for this league so I can't see them splashing the cash. I suspect their owner is happy with where they are when you consider their recent history. Floating around mid-table is fantastic for Stevenage.0 -
Most unusual L1 transfer of the window? Ryan Tafazolli loaned to Lee Man Football Club in Hong Kong

At Rotherham mate. I'd be surprised if Reading sign anyone based on what their fans told me at our place. Apparently it's really bad. It's crazy they're 7th tbh. Makes a bit of a mockery to the league.2 -

Most of it is that they have a fantastic academy that is churning out quality kids who are filling in well (Garcia, Akande, Wareing) and generating cash to keep the club going (Abbey, Holmes, Vickers) In addition their transfer business in L1 has been superb (Bindon, Knibbs, Smith, Wing, Pereira and Savage all on frees for examples). If we can't get any of their players then we could look at their scouts/person in charge of transfers.
Pereira (keeper) out of contract in the summer so I suspect Reading will be desperate to move him on for a bit of cash now.3 -

Not a L1 deal, but Plymouth who are surely heading back to L1 have sold Morgan Whittaker to Boro for £5m, plus £2.5m worth of add-ons.
A lot of money to build a decent team next season.

O’Rourke saying Luton have made a £6m bid for Kone. At what point does it become stupid for Wycombe to turn it down?5

I think you take the £6m. Even with their new owners wealth that's enough money to do a lot with. Replacing him will be difficult though.1 -

Oh absolutely it's a dangerous game to play. They looked very limited without him against us. I think they'd be taken for a ride anyway regardless of the window if people knew they had £6m.1 -

Are Luton that attractive a proposition at the moment? Yes it's his old manager, but they're in a relegation dogfight.0 -

If Wycombe get the wrong Manager, he could be in League One regardless, with Wycombe fighting off relegation.1 -

Kone, 17 goals & 2 assists in 44 league games
Leaburn, 20 goals & 5 assists in 65 league games0 -
Luton apparently going to sign Asgaard according to O'Rourke. Would significantly weaken Wigan1
