Wagstaff in a swap deal with A N Other?0

Ephraim? Cook (despite being right footed) and Kerkar are probably at their best on the left of midfield.Melrose said:Reckon Ehphraim in on loan. Jackson getting too slow, will be moved to centre?
Green to Swindon + cash for Matt Ritchie or Wagstaff to be sold.
Would rather Green. We have enough slow midfielders, can't afford to play all 4 together.Redhenry said:Wagstaff in a swap deal with A N Other?

I wouldn't say Waggy's that rapid to be honest. I think Green is a good player to have around the squad for set pieces, just like Johnnie Jackson. If we were to sell either, I think Waggy would fetch a higher price and be more replaceable.0
-
But we also have Stephens and Yann to take set pieces, so we're not short. I imagine Kerkar would be able to take them as well, he looks the sort.0
-
I think Waggy is a far better player than most of you realise, he just suffers from not being a specialist in any position. His energy and fitness make him a great squad member at the very least0

Seems that our bid for DNG was under 50k....cheeky!0 -
See Wolves are selling Fletcher for £12m and Jarvis for £10m wonder who they'll get with that money? Maybe they'll bid £5m for Clarke0
-
Don't be ridiculous Big Red we should hold out for £10m.0
-
Bolasie on way to Palace according to the Sun shame as he could have been useful especially if we let one of our wingers go

pretty sure you can still loan players once the window is shut .... for a few weeks at least

Loan window shuts at the same time as the transfer window, but then re-opens about a week later..................I thinkDickVanDykesDiscoDog said:pretty sure you can still loan players once the window is shut .... for a few weeks at least

the 31st as well ?0 -
Yes. At the end of the window. If less than 25 are named, any playing joining on loan or free transfers can be added after this dateDickVanDykesDiscoDog said:

which I hope is when we might pick up a few unwanted Prem players0
-
I don't really see the relevance of the Prem 25 man squad kicking off a load of loans. if I am right U21's are not included in the 25 so it has no bearing on kids. as for older, more established players who miss the cut, there won;t be that many (outside the top 5 or 6 teams) and those that do miss out will either be too expensive (ala Santa Cruz) or will already know they are going to miss out so be hawked around already.0
-
It's still relevant for people like Lansbury, Naughton and Townsend, who I think are all over the cutoff date for under 21's0
-
yer the youngsters aren't included anyway, its only people like Ephraim really who may not be included in the 25 and then might as well go on loan.0

We haven't upped our bid for DNG:

Other clubs, my a**e! U would have thought their chairman would take these up, UNLESS DNG is refusing to go elsewhere and we are sitting pretty in a win win position, no need to increase offer as they need his wages off their books if rumours are correct...0

Don't think it's cheeky when Millwall told us we could have him for free last year, if anyone is being cheeky here, it's them.TravHouse said:http://addickschampionshipdiary.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/nguessan-correction.html

Exactly the phrase I was going to use. Somes up the rascals completly. That and twats.

Sorry! I meant sums.0

Surely twats is more accurate?0
