Reo-Coker to sign?

Definitely at least Championship quality which cannot be said with absolute certainty for any of our other midfielders. If we can sign him it's a no brainer.0

What about: Powell wanted to have a look at Reo-Coker, but he thought he could get a Premiership club. He hasn't been able to and so is now open to the move. Sounds like a much more realistic scenarioSouthAfricaAddick said:

It seems so. Not sure what is the point of it.PL54 said:
Are we back into making-stories-up season ?SouthAfricaAddick said:Could it be that SCP has gone to the board to say, either we get people in or i walk.
If he walks, then that effectively opens the whole bag of worms.0 -
'Championship strugglers'? - cheeky sods0

How old is Reo-Coker? This is just the sort of signings We need to make every so often, I can't see it breaking the bank and maybe he'll be another Di Canio.se9addick said:
The long term future of the club is far, far more important to meSillybilly said:
Good point, but If we don't do something to the midfield pronto our short term future will be rather grimse9addick said:One minute everyone is convinced we're on the edge of financial meltdown, next they can't wait to welcome a bloke who will almost certainly be on very big bucks.
I'd be happy if we signed him, but not at the expense of the clubs long term future.
Speculate to accumulate. (Without doing a "Leeds")
IF it happens, it would be a great signing! imo....0 -

Come on lads you can't dangle a carrot like that, and then not give us anymore clues.0

Sounds like he's with us to keep fit before getting a deal elsewhere.0

If we were in for Reo, I would have thought Stephens would have been sold0

Accurate enough, though, from what we've seen so far. Not everything printed in The Daily Mail is a lie (just 99 per cent of it!)TravHouse said:"Championship Strugglers" ...little bit harsh after 5 games!
Powell played with him at West Ham under some bloke called Pardew in 2004-5. Reo-Coker was 19 or 20 at the time and Powell was the senior pro. So I think we can trust SCP both in the decision to recruit and then to get the best out of him.
And let's face it, something has to be done about the midfield...

Is there anything stopping Stephens going on loan to Villa?0

Hopefully will be the same as Jason Euell last summer thenShootersHillGuru said:Sounds like he's with us to keep fit before getting a deal elsewhere.

Premier League clubs don't have a loan window, only the summer and January transfer windowsWSS said:Is there anything stopping Stephens going on loan to Villa?

Stephens looked our best midfielder the other night, not a lot of point of getting loans in to strenghen then letting others go.
Jackson needs to be dropped/rested and Pritchard needs bringing back in the middle because he is not a winger.0 -
