I find it very encouraging that we have invetested in the youth team with players and coaches etc and we seem to have a really good crop of youngsters.. Worst comes to worst and we sell them it will still put some money in the coffers0

In the same N Ireland youth team as Micheal Martin, one of our 1st year scholars. Good crop of local lads in the academy, but also good that the network of scouts we put in place last year is picking up players from further afield. Only takes a couple to come through to make it all worthwhile.mart77 said:A young player from Derry, Mikhail Kennedy, is said to have signed for us according to twitter. Only 16 I believe so one for the future.

He has tweeted that his deal is subject to confirmation, but that it needs the approval of his previous club FC Lucerne (not sure how this works given that he was only on loan there, but maybe they have a first option).sammy391 said:The Nigerian player who we have 'signed' just tweeted
@Endurancemiz1: Check my Real name out OLANREWAJU KAYODE for those asking about me...
Pretty sure someone on here had posted a goal of his stating we should look at him (could have been ackworth)
Appears to be a 20 year old Nigerian youth international who has impressed and scored goals in youth international tournaments including the FIFA U20 World Cup (3 goals) and the Youth ACON (scored in the final) but has already had a fair few clubs. He was on loan at FC Lucerne from our old friends ASEC Mimosas - the loan expired in November.
Definitely an interesting one.0 -

Considering the Ivory Coast knocked them out months ago, is Cisse going as a spectator?Nicholas said:Has to be odds on he will be at Newcastle. Cisse is going african nations soon aswell as losing BA leaves them with nothing.

I just signed up to cybereagles and reviews look pretty good for Kayode. Says he has been linked with Lyon before, great pace but needs to work on his finishing. Some call him the Nigerian Gyan, but that could be down to his dance.0

oops, was all good lol
He said, ”One of the other players, Olanrewaju Kayode, cannot also be under-17. He wanted to play for Sharks feeders in 2002 and he said he had finished secondary school back then. How then can he still be under-17? There might still be others but, as a lawyer, I don‘t want to speculate.

Given the size of Real Madrid, there's every chance he's been watche play by a Real Madrid scout, or more to the point one of their scouts has watched a game(s) he's played in. Scouting him and considering signing him are 2 very different things.ISawLeaburnScore said:

The internet is full of shit though. I'm still conviced Moutouakil's French U21 caps were just the figment of someone's imagination.
