    My guess is Harry Kane or Schlupp or Fuller or Fryatt or Grandin or CMS or Chris Wood or someone else.

    Fryatt would be a decent signing. Solid record and experienced. A definite improvement on what we have. Known to Powell and available on loan. No idea if he's the man but it'd be more plausible than some of the suggestions.

    Think we need two strikers ideally anyway. Assuming Sordell is out of the picture completely. Last season we had Yann, Haynes, Fuller, BWP and later Obika. All decent at this level and all offering something a bit different. As well as more quality, we need more options up front, ways to change the way we are playing in game and between games.

    Powell wanted Baldock but he had a crap season at Brizzle C. Would think Powell has moved on from Baldock.

    Could see Grandin coming in.

    Both Schlupp and Wood will have been pushed down the pecking order bur Phillip's arrival , but I wonder whether the Foxes may wait until 7 February so that they could recall them if there was a injury crisis. Waghorn is also available following the end of his loan at Millwall.

    Likewise Fryatt came off the bench on Saturday for Hull so I can't see him coming, Harry Kane has played a couple of times for Spurs.
    CMS is injured and I can't see him leaving Brighton mid season.

    Mentioned Fryatt a few times, he'd be a great signing if we could get him. Baldock had an average season last year in a poor Bristol side. I'd still be happy if he ended up at us.

    Looks like our RD has got more pressing matters to deal with than getting us any non-Liege players by trying to keep hold of Batshuayi.

    About time we had an owner that doesn't sell our best players on the cheap. Here's hoping he'll do the same if we get any bids in for Cousins.

    Me too.

    Millwall only stayed up last year thanks to the goals Chris Wood scored for them in the first half of the season. Otherwise they would have been relegated out of sight.

    It's not the most exciting goals record I grant you that, however I suppose you could argue the same thing for Yann before he came here. Or on the other side Soldado had a great goal record before he went Spurs, and now he is just a penalty specialist.

    Hopefully if we do sign him, Powell can get the best out of him.

    His goalscoring record in the Football League with Gillingham and Norwich is impressive. It's in the Premier League and Germany at higher levels and with poor teams that he's then struggled. He's ideal for The Championship.

    I reckon you could definitely see some goals if you have Jackson playing off Kermorgant's flick ons... Would class him in the same mold as Church yet is a better finisher... Ishmael Miller would be a great backup for Yann and even though he's not scored many of late he got 3 goals in 7 appearances for Yeovil this term

    B) Who appear to be ones CP wants
    C) not from Liege.

    Gives me hope that things may be happening and hopefully contracts soon.

    These transfers if they go ahead will certainly send out a message saying that Powell definitely has a say in which players come in

    Would be very shocked (for the conspiracy theorists) if RD has heard of either of them and is forcing them on Powell!!

    Surely you have to take into context the level at which the goals are scored.

    Basically 1 in 4.2 at our level. Not sure that's great for a 'goalscorer' tbh,
