    I heard rumours that there was a rumour about a possible rumour being made up... that said, for all those who say they are 'in the know' (you know who you are) it seems odd that not a single person heard of the Vertokele signing before it happened - especially given he not only has a Belgian link, but one to Peeters directly - surely someone could have pulled this one out of there arse somewhere along the line?

    Looking into it more and it seems the rumour has came from a Blackpool fan that tends to get everything Blackpool related right.

    Excited by this. The next stage of human evolution right here at the Valley. Hopefully his cranium will expand to the size of a beachball for nutting and scoring headers. Couple of extra limbs too please. And the ability to teleport.

    I have to admit Ezekiel would be a cracking signing but i am very unsure this will happen. He has a 1 in 2 goal average for SL over the last 2 seasons. Why would they let him come to us especially as its probable they are going to lose Batshuayi to a Prem team?

    Would love it to happen but can't see it. Unless there is truth about RD selling up SL soon and he is stripping them of their assets (which should worry us more as he could do the same to us in future when/if he gets bored). All speculation i know (even the RD comment, based on nothing but conspiracy theory).

    There is no way that Ezekiel will be signing for us. Buyens in by the end of the week, with possibly another.
