This is getting ridiculous now!!!1

So it's squeaky bum time. Seems that the negotiations have reached crisis point, dont think RD is the type to blink. (scrub blink insert fart)0
-
Might have already been posted but his dad seems to be suggesting Roland will meet with the Tours owner on Sunday to discuss the fee.
@DELORT1960: @chris_lockyer If the 2 Presidents tomb of agreement this Sunday but there is a difference of a million euro0 -
i think we will end up getting him but it won't be a week or so. if roland is still negociating and a million euros is the difference, looks like it will end up somewhere inbetween. i think we will get him though.1

I think a lot might depend on if we have other irons in the fire. Bob wants a striker and if this drags on too long I'm sure we will move on someone else.jackmasterflash said:i think we will end up getting him but it won't be a week or so. if roland is still negociating and a million euros is the difference, looks like it will end up somewhere inbetween. i think we will get him though.

Away from the Delort saga, is there any news on the other expected arrival? I know Powell of Man Utd has been mentioned but didn't know if there was any progression on this or any other possible new recruits.1

class="Quote" rel="Scoham">A few interesting tweets between a Charlton fan and SeBlueLion
@SeBlueLion: @Tony_Marsh1980 clubs are still negotiating, on the transfer fee and agent fee. Charlton is one of the options, like Leeds and Brentford
@SeBlueLion: @Tony_Marsh1980 His father has followed a string of Charlton-related accounts the past week, I'd say Charlton is the most likely
@SeBlueLion: @Tony_Marsh1980 He's quite all-round. 6ft but strong and quick, workrate and good technically (take on defenders or shot first time).
@SeBlueLion: @Tony_Marsh1980 if he handles himself well, I'm very hopeful. If things goes his way, he'll be in contention for France NT in 2 or 3 years.
Sebluelion?! Little bit of sick just came up.1 -
Bored with this time to MOVE ON.0

The dad of Delort has said on twitter that the presidents of the 2 clubs will be discussing the fee this weekend, so obviously Duchatalet and whoever the president of Tours is, so if anything is to come of the transfer we should know by or on Sunday.0

He just replied to someone saying it may take longer than that. We don't usually confirm transfers on a weekend either.
Few more tweets sound promising, his dad say he only wants to come to Charlton.1 -

I'm a very carm and layed back person but this is really getting on my nerves! Surely we have other target's coz I thinK his father is being the problem here!0

Interesting. Out of curiosity, what do you think his father has done wrong? Seems to me that he is just keen for his son to secure his dream moveuie2 said:I'm a very carm and layed back person but this is really getting on my nerves! It's not his father that is the problem it is the two clubs agreeing a fee, personal terms already done at the beginning of the weekuie2 said:I'm a very carm and layed back person but this is really getting on my nerves! There's a lot of parties involved here.
We have a player who wants to move - knows where he wants to move to and is trying to force the issue with a few cheeky tweets. Not a problem with that
We have a club that want him, have a figure in mind for him and won't budge. Allegedly been very accommodating to a bit of piss taking from Tours. No problem with that.
We have a club that are saying one thing and desperately trying to get more out of a deal. I have a problem with that
We have the player's father who wants the best for his son and is also trying to expedite the process by tweeting. Not a problem with that
We have a bunch of fans that are impatient and making all sorts of online mischief and generally acting like kids. Not the best if I'm honest.
If it is meant to be then so be it. I personally think it will go through once Tours have realised there are no alternatives and they have to take our offer. I really don't get the impression that Roland will roll over and have his belly tickled on this. He'll tell Tours to shove it up their arse if they are not prepared to budge10 - Sponsored links:

Tours simply cannot afford to upset their 'star' player as well as miss out on a few million of much needed money.
Roland knows this and he is playing hardball with his hard earned cash - rightly so!0 -
Maybe Roland will just buy the club insteadsammy391 said:Tours simply cannot afford to upset their 'star' player as well as miss out on a few million of much needed money.
