A hose is a new one! Litterbugs.
My train abandoned its journey at Charlton this morning, because the driver said there was a fault with the train, shortly before he drove off with ease, leaving chaos behind.
The only thing that works fairly regularly at Southeastern are the card readers when buying one's ticket.1 -
Commuter of nearly 25 years standing and thank fook I don't have to do it anymore. I can only offer you my sympathy but keep em coming, some of these are hilarious...0

If it makes anyone feel better slogging away on SouthEastern, the Jubilee line is fooked this evening after a faulty train at Finchley Road earlier!
Fortunately, I walk out to Poplar from Canary Wharf and whilst the DLR was packed, it ran nicely. No sign of any hose on the tracks! :-)0 -
And this is before all the major disruption due over the next few years. Going to be a nightmare.0

Utter shower of a service0

Think this thread needs to be renamed "South Eastern always and forever".1

Among the disruption and battle to get anywhere last night , southeastern tweeted the boxing day train timetable ....1
-
Is there one?1
-
Probably just a tweet to say there won't be a service on Boxing Day.1

No difference from any other working day then.HantsAddick said:Probably just a tweet to say there won't be a service on Boxing Day.

I sometimes wonder if TOCs are taking the piss with Twitter or are genuinely clueless. The number of times I see twee little tweets about someone handing in a forgotten bobble hat to lost property, or a cheeky little bon mot about a local harvest festival or the like whilst I'm furiously searching for a tweet about the latest delay caused by one single train driver being late eating his porridge in the morning and causing misery for thousands makes me think they're either utterly bereft of intelligence, or part of some grand experimental scheme to fuck everyone's lives up over a number of years.6
