    Apparently he has had a 'fracas' with a producer. So whether or not he has lamped him remains to be seen.

    It won't work without clarkson and he knows this. If they sack him he'll just go off and do something similar elsewhere and make even more money. iTV will be getting erect over this news

    I think they can go on without him. If the other two stick around, they'd help sell it to the audience. It worked for Have I Got News For You. Gray and Keys thought they were Sky Sports. I think it's just highly unlikely they'll find the perfect replacement first time.

    clarkson being marmite to so many is the appeal, the bloke is superb for that show and has worked well with hammond and may to the point where it is at its best for years

    Whatever you think of Clarkson, he is the 'talent' on the show whilst producers are ten a penny (and doubtless he well knows it).

    As stunts go, I think this tops having a couple doing it cowgirl style on the centre circle of the pitch, but that's just my opinion.
