Looks like an effort to nip pitch invasions in the bud.

    Beat me to it..!

It's deadly serious guys - the flag is out. Either Roland's pissed up again or Katrien is launching another investigation...

Having properly read it and digested it, something interesting has crossed my mind:
A reminder that the following is illegal and will be investigated: entering the field of play or adjacent areas (i.e. pitch invasion); the throwing of any objects in the ground; racist or homophobic chanting; carrying or using pyrotechnics inside or outside the ground.
Could it be argued that chanting "You Belgian wankers" is racist? If so...
The MPS have made recent arrests for offences at CAFC including pitch invasion and throwing a bottle at a protest outside the main entrance to the ground. There have been a number of arrests, charges and bans in recent weeks for offences by CAFC fans and there are a number of court cases coming up in particular in relation to the disorder at Crystal Palace.
Tony the Testicle's grand plan to ban protesters could well work, albeit very tenuously?

If I sing Tony Keohane looks like a ballbag (not sure as to what tune it goes to yet..) I'm sure this swerves any racist brackets. Sorted.

    What a load of crap!
Scaremongering and patronising fans sorry customers , regarding a protest/incident that over 5thousand people took part in (beachballs and whistles alone!)

Roland and katrien must be running out of shovels , let them keep digging!

A valid well considered point! I retract my statement! :dizzy:

Must be serious they've got the flag out again, but surely it should be at half mast.
  • But no, quite obviously the Club's statement this released after a little talk with someone with the MET. It's costing the Club a hell of a lot of money for it all, and a lot of effort to push through with all these stadium bans (although they essentially are burning the hands of their own fans over quite petty things). The more warnings and the more serious they sound the less people will do it, but it's all pointless now - people couldn't care less for a ban at the Valley; these will likely be lifted upon a new owner and that will be when they want to return to the Valley.

The Brighton game is going to be fun.. cough cough wink wink.

The club can't help but make themselves look stupid can they. Whilst all protests should be lawful this does make it sound that they deem the beach balls to warrant a banning order.

What a complete and utter shambles this club has become. Threat after badly-written threat is not the way to run a football club.

These disgraceful owners should be thoroughly ashamed and embarrassed.

Glad it wasn't just me thinking that... it's almost as though they're afraid to make a statement on their own two feet out of fear of the backlash.
  • Well I've beaten them to it, like many others I think. I have banned myself already! What a bunch of pathetic people they are...

No doubt you'll be sleeping with one eye open from now on, terrified by the knowledge that it's just a matter of time before the Sweeney are kicking your door in at 5am.

    So, if you're planning to be a ball-boy at the next home game; or a player, taking a throw-in; or support staff chucking a drinking water bottle to players {...}

Great move Charlton. At a time where i would like to think you would be doing everything including kissing my arse to get me buy my 3 season tickets for next season, you send threatening messages telling me I might get banned for protesting.
Hmmmmm now, do i buy or not.......let me think!?

It's not racist. Borderline xenophobic, but definitely not racist.

my source has confirmed that Slipper of the Yard is on the case at the insistence of senior management.

he is currently cruising around the boroughs of Greenwich/Bexley in a Ford Anglia looking for a lock-up containing empty boxes of black and white beach balls, a consignment of whistle wrappings and discarded Pinocchio masks/costumes.
