I think that "The President's" Theory is that of the Evolution of the Faeces....

EDIT Apologies for bastardising the correct title for Darwin's work (for some reason, things to do with bastards are foremost in my mind at the moment).

Now KR knows what he really is up against. You chose the wrong club Karl. If you have any self respect, tell him where to stick his job.
  • Yea, good to see the very positive things coming out of that meeting including yet more bullsh*t from KR.

And if he calls Douchbag the President once more he can eff off as well.

From the OS interview with KR

“I want to make this club great again and you can only do that by winning games, getting promoted, competing at the next level and then pushing towards the Premier League. That’s got to be the aim.”

That's not what Roland says. In fact, it's the complete opposite!
  • From the OS interview with KR

How was Tuesday's trip to Belgium?

"We went through the games. The President has his theory on things, so he gave us his opinions on different situations; he knew that certain performances haven’t been great and he knew the Millwall performance wasn’t good enough.

“We then moved onto the players that we want to bring in. I was very clear on the type of players that I’d like to sign and we’ll have to see where that goes now.

“He knows my ideas and then we stayed and watched STVV’s game against Liege. Cristian Ceballos scored, so it was nice to see him play, and it was a good trip.

“We know what we can do in January and now we need to move forward. I kept repeating that I want to make this club successful and that is the objective of all of ours.

“I want to make this club great again and you can only do that by winning games, getting promoted, competing at the next level and then pushing towards the Premier League. That’s got to be the aim.”

Once again KR shows he can talk the talk. I feel sorry for him already. A lot more than I ever did with miserable old Slade.

I would be astounded if Karl gets all the players he wants in January. It will be a very telling time for him, perhaps the penny might drop that getting Roland to do what he wants is impossible and it'll be cheerio Karl.

  • I think Robinson will come back saying I have achieved peace in our time

And like that cretinous cowardly quisling before him, Robinson will find out to his cost that he is sadly mistaken

    Harsh on Slade ; - )

Harsh on Chamberlin too who wasn't a quisling for all his faults and mistakes
Yes quisling is over the top but you havent had to be reminded of his faults and mistakes by my wife and countless other Czechs for the last 23 years.

I hope that KR too is not a quisling, but I am not confident
    A bit off topic.
I spent a week, 12 years ago working over in the east of the country, Ostrava,(don't think that's how to spell it). I was reminded on a few occasions about the deal we had and the results of us not honouring it. Certainly something they remember better than I did. I explained to them that we were hardly in a position to defend ourselves let alone a landlocked country with an enemy in between. One guy did mention that we helped Poland but left them to their fate.

Seems clear from that that we are nowhere near to signing anyone.

Nothing about working towards the same goals/ambitions or being on the same page.

Surprised this wasn't discussed in Paris a few weeks ago when then met for hours.

    This is utterly depressing.
  • Exactly.
KR:I'd like a strong attacking type player and a creative midfielder type player.

RD: Hmm. What have we got in the bin?

So the Belgian Mickey told Old Roly that he wants some players to replace the shite he has to work with and Mowgli has been commissioned to find some. In the meantime, his best player is being sold off to offset a few losses.

Roland says “I want to make this club great again and you can only do that by holding dances and building hotels and offices in the Jimmy Seed Stand. That has to be the aim.”

Maybe it was discussed, however now Karl has seen the shit he has been dealt and now wants a shake up.
  • But if success wasn't important, why did we get rid of Powell/Riga/peeters/Luzon/ Freye/ Riga/ slade?

I feel sorry for RD, a lot of fans on here complain they do not understand KR, how does RD understand what he is saying. When things go wrong RD will say, sorry I misunderstood what he wanted. Perhaps his Irish secret? agent translates for him
  • I want a new president, I voted differently.
  • Seems clear from that that we are nowhere near to signing anyone.

This. No club should be deciding who they might want to bring in for January at the end of December.

I don't get the criticism of KR. He's finding out what he's up against and dealing with it the best way he knows how it seems to me. Obviously he's going to put on the best "spin" that he can short of telling outright lies. Probably his biggest mistake so far was taking the job in the first place, but like most of us thinks he can succeed where others have failed. He hasn't got much to work with, and he's still learning what these (often second string) players can and can't do. Expecting great results right now is unrealistic, and speculating about the conversations with RD is futile. I feel the criticism on here is, so far, more than a little unfair.

Per KR "I was very clear on the TYPE of players that I’d like to sign and we’ll have to see where that goes now"

What this means is that he hasn't or hasn't been allowed to identify specific targets as yet. Yet again we are behind everyone else who is already in discussions with the clubs and their agent to get the actual players they need. In a well organised club the manger would be saying I'd lie to sign X and he'll probably cost up to £y and his wage would be £z - do I have the authority to do so?? I can tell KR where the current position goes - the same as every other transfer deadline when we are scrabbling around for the crumbs and end up with next to nothing, together with you getting the order of the boot sometime after it becomes clear that we will not reach the play-offs.

Plus Konsa and Fox to clubs that identified actual players rather than a Type of player.

Ok, so at least we know one of the new arrivals in January.

My guess 2 or 3 sold couple of network loans in.

If that does happen we will 100% know we have just another puppet as manager.

The best spin KR can put on it would be to remain silent rather than present us with a stream of inane sycophantic drivel. If he can get a few decent players in then he should let them do the talking. If not he should walk to preserve what remains of his dignity. That said there seems to be quite a market for managers prepared to work for owners who don't give a damn about the fans - Russell Slade has now worked for Vincent Tan, RD and Sisu - so Oyston cannot be faraway.
