Charlton v Bury - Post Match Views

Not at The Valley but for me everything related to the club feels like Rock Bottom.

Grateful for the views of those there

It does feel like rock bottom. Time to switch off life support and go and start a new club?

    What was the attendance like?
Don't think many of them will be returning!
  • Seriously though, I'm scared of this getting any worse. It feels like it can.
  • Could be a few more going to Belgium next weekend now.

    Might get a bit lively.

If you don't laugh you'll cry
  • Stayed at home to spend time with the kids today. Totally and utterly fallen out of love with the club and didn't even miss not being at the game.

  • I wa half way though ranting on the match thread and it was closed.

It's time for him to go. We were shit under slade but are going backwards under this wanker. i have to listen to his bull shit twice a week on charlton live and it's boring, he said he knows what is wrong well from today's performance against one of the worst sides in The division he doesn't have a clue.

    That's just plain embarrassing.

Almost makes you forget we lost 0-1 at home to bury.

Pinocchio will be interviewing suitable new candidates as we speak.

And you think whoever comes in is going to do any better? It does not matter who our manager is whilst we have RD and KM at the helm.

    Goodbye Karl

No that's next week. Firstly, Meire needs to give a vote of confidence to the manager.
  • Team appears physically and mentally weak.

I don't think they have the stomach for this upcoming relegation battle. Final 4 matches are against teams who could go down. We must be safe by then because the players won't be able to handle the pressure.

We haven't scored in 3 or last 4 games. Only 7 clean sheets this season.

Yes I do think the right bloke can, this club has gone backwards under him!

I ain't expecting us to go up but he said a load of bs about fighting for the badge etc but that ain't happening
  • We won't have the heart for a relegation battle. League Two is calling.

Of course not. And whoever comes in will require 2 transfer windows to rebuild a squad that fits his system which is entirely different from KR'S system. He won't be given the funds or the time and we will start again. Rinse and repeat.

A little part of me does think that if he's sacked it will further highlight what an absolute mess they are.

I can't see there being many who would want the shitty job.

Robinson had the January transfer window to identify what we needed.

    He has failed.

Even if that was a hard convincing task to bring in realistic calibre of players that would help our cause.

He even blamed it on the fact that we've got 10million from a transfer.....as to why we couldn't recruit, negotiation wise.

Robbo knows he will be gone soon.

He might as well just say in the press that he knows exactly what the problem is.

2 years pay for 4 months work....then another football job in league one most likely.

    Then Congo Chris.

    We've learnt from our mistakes.

    Utterly pathetic.
