I simply said something doesn't add up, which is obviously correct, if one story is a bid is accepted and the other is we want him to stay and are negotiating a new contract.

What we really need regarding our midfield is someone to come in and help out Holmes.
As things stand he is the only midfield player we have who can both score and create.
Other teams realise this and they target him nonstop.
If we could sign another player of his quality to share the burden it would help enormously.
But knowing Katie she will probably sell Holmes and we will struggle.0 -
