If you are able to say does this mean that the significant stumbling block has been, or is being, resolved?Airman Brown said:There is definitely one other group, which is fronted by Paul Elliott and a Charlton supporter. Let's call it CATO - leave you to work that one out!
My sources are sceptical about the substance of this group and whether the Belgians take it seriously. I would surmise, however, that it could be of use to them to try to squeeze more money out of the Australians. But I believe the latter are much further down the line, in any event.0 -
Nah. It’s St.Andrews Day. Inferring the link between takeover and Andrew Muir.lolwray said:i think this last day thing is the deadline for completion of DD ...just an intelligent surmise ...

Why not bring back that game that used to be on here where you had to add a letter at the front or back of it - it seems like a void has been created by its disappearance and this thread has filled that need for excitement - 'Turn to OAFDUMP, for those who can't take anticipation and dissapointment'0

This thread is shit.
Aside from the possibility that Peter Andre is interested in buying us, I've learnt nothing over 165 pages.1 -
Back to being serious and on topic. I’m hearing it’s still far from imminent.0

I beg to differ:Macronate said:This thread is shit.
Aside from the possibility that Peter Andre is interested in buying us, I've learnt nothing over 165 pages.
- We've learnt that @Addickted knows his flags of the world
- We've learnt that Australia is far away and a bugger to get to to protest if things go wrong
- We've learnt that @DOUCHER has a friend in the know who sometimes lies
- We've heard that the potential new owner will either be Australian, Greek, Chinese, British or Peter Andre
- We KNOW a takeover is in the process of happening and is at various stages
- Katrien is still useless and doesn't 'get it' still after 4 years (but we knew this before the Thread started)
- 'Its Happening gif's' are wonderful and plentiful
- We know have a slightly better understanding of what happens during a takeover
- 99% of us want a takeover to happen by 5th Dec (but will accept before 9th Dec)
- @Airman Brown is a wonderful tease
- @Stig 's posts about the history of the Regime are wonderful and hit home perfectly
- @Weegie Addick understands Flemish/Belgian/Dutch/Whatever all those Roland and Katrien articles are written in
- @Henry Irving will only believe it When It Is On The Official Site (WIOTOS)
See, we've learnt some things.22 -

Well, both parties will want it to go through before the end of the transfer window (preferably for the buyer when there is still time to do some business). So whilst not imminent, it's still very close.ShootersHillGuru said:Back to being serious and on topic. I’m hearing it’s still far from imminent.
