"shook up the premier league" - highest ever finish of 10th!

No matter how good their team is, they're still a bunch of nigels and a laughing stock. I wonder what their normal fans think of this, if they have any?0
-
as already said 'probably the most Nigel thing I've ever read'
weird lot0 -
This world class support they talk about, i wonder if groups of 'Ultras' at proper clubs have meetings on how they can emulate Crystal Palace................1
-
Desiccated wank stains the lot of em!1

Fucking Zaha.
Just scored an absolutely brilliant goal. One man team.0 -
They are jammy f*****s. Have there ever been 2 worse teams in the Premier League than Huddersfield and Cardiff? And they are both in it together this year. Only need one more team to join those 2 in the bottom 3 - and with the likes of West ham and Newcastle, that won't be hard.
So doesn't really matter how crap Palace are, there are bound to be 3 worse teams than them this year.1 -
Booooooooo!!!
I mean just...
Booooooooo!!!0 -
Given how much they have spent on transfers and wages I am still happy they are a shit pl team. Reporter essentially said nothing to chose between palace and HUD’s except Zaha.0

You don't understand it? I'd say it's possibly because you've spent half your career diving.

It’s frustrating he’s allowed so much space in the press complaining about referee decisions. Feel like I’m reading his crybaby interviews every other week. He’s a cheat. The only reason they got to the premier league was by cheating that championship season and being given a ridiculous amount of penalties,Chris_from_Sidcup said:You don't understand it? The boy who cried wolf. Dives around all the time then is astonished refs see it and are reluctant to give him anything.Chris_from_Sidcup said:You don't understand it? I'd say it's possibly because you've spent half your career diving.

What is so annoying is that teams of Palace's rough size (including us) NEVER got or get to keep players like Zaha. It's absolutely fucking infuriating. Like a sort of evil Matt Le Tissier1

I doubt he'll be there next seasonLeuth said:What is so annoying is that teams of Palace's rough size (including us) NEVER got or get to keep players like Zaha. It's absolutely fucking infuriating. Like a sort of evil Matt Le Tissier

Did you see the cringey fan asking his mate to feel his chest and beating heart? They are a bit odd, fair play.11
-
No, but I did hear another cringey Nigel on 606 saying that palace fans should take the referees to court for failing in their duty of care to look after players. Hmmm, good luck with that.Valley11 said:Did you see the cringey fan asking his mate to feel his chest and beating heart? They are a bit odd, fair play.

Wot, no mention of the tackle he got booked for ? I guess he’d have to break somebody’s leg before he gets a red card...Chris_from_Sidcup said:You don't understand it? I'd say it's possibly because you've spent half your career diving.

It's certainly true that opposition teams target him, but then Palace are such a one man team0
-
Can we get @i_b_b_o_r_g to target him?1
-
Listened to half the commentary on that game. Even the commentators who were behind the Stripey Croydon lot thought he was being provocative in his "over-celebrations" when already on a yellow.
And if someone did break his leg, I'd expect he'd get at least a yellow...
And the stripeys would be relegated.0 -

"Why am I getting different treatment from other players?" said Zaha, who scored Palace's winner at Huddersfield. "I have tried to speak to referees. There's nothing I can do any more."
Zaha has played in four of the Eagles' five games so far this season and has been fouled 11 times. Only Leicester's James Maddison, Chelsea's Eden Hazard and Will Hughes of Watford have been fouled more.
Since the start of last season the Crystal Palace man - fouled 87 times - is behind only Richarlison, Hazard, Jordan Ayew and Dele Alli.
Do we ever hear any of these players moaning about being fouled so much?2 -
Jesus wept they've caved!!

So will the existing palace season ticket holders that are already in those newly designated singing seats just get told to eff off or will they get a chance to audition to join the HFs ?ForeverAddickted said:Jesus wept they've caved!!

This is the question - what happens to the long standing season ticket holders who'll presumably be kicked out of the central blocks, and what happens to the people who've bought the seats that the Holmesdale Numpties vacated in the summer. Article says they're back for the next home game. Gonna be some tearful Nigels unless the club's already smoothed it over with a backhander.letthegoodtimesroll said:

Anyway, back to listening to commentators and pundits harping on about the atmosphere created by the Premier League's campest supporters.2 -
What if the ones being moved now boycott the club? Can they get their money back as the terms of their contract have been broken?0
-
Hopefully they'll get relegated, so that there will be plenty of empty for the Ultras to occupy. A win win situation0
