So who is the consortium that can now have a chance to close the deal post today?0
-
If he can’t strike a deal with a geeza who’s got serious cash then who will he strike a deal with, which leads back to the original diagnoses that, we are not for sale. Roland just fall down a lift shaft or sumin.2

Time for the Aussies to do the same. Put up or walk away.5

What Duchatelet has (through good fortune) is a manager who may do something incredible. He is ensuring it has to be truly incredible by the amount of money he is willing to commit. But if Bowyer does well with a few loans, it is more than possible we can be up there challenging. The best way for Duchatelet to get his money back is to have us sniffing around the play off places come Christmas time.2

So it was Dalman as predicted and worryingly has walked away. Not convinced The Aussies have the money either so unless this new party acts quickly or we see a Bowyer style turnaround it looks like RD is still here for some time yet.
And why would RD be desperate to deal with Dalman when The Aussies remain waiting in the wings unless RD is desperate to sell on any terms now and that doesn't appear to be the case.
Hope is now fading unless the new party can make a deal happen.1 -
The Aussies will never get it over the line, maybe they'll walk away as well and Roland will be forced to fund another year2
-
So it would appear that there has been an 11th hour price hike. Really is time for all interested parties (if there are any left) to put their cards on the table. Best offer - take it or leave it and move on. Pandering to the madman clearly isn't working.6

Top eight or ten and a potential buyer can sniff the Premier League.0

I'm not surprised, none of you should be, by any of it.6

To Shine 166,its a bit sad when discussions cant take place without personal insults, still each to their own, luckily the majority of people on this site stick to voicing their opinions about football, and Charlton.3

I should say that the European group is in that story because Prague posted it on here, so while I have no reason to think it’s wrong - and in fact I pointed the Standard in his direction because I trust him on it - the story is not of itself evidence that it’s right.12

So Jimwhite. You get why we're not all ecstatic now? RD clearly doesn't want to sell that badly16
-
Jesus fucking Christ.....its just total madness.3
-
Jim White was telling us recently that we should be rejoicing because Duchatelet is desperate to sell. He doesn't act like a desperate seller though - putting the price up after promising not to suggests he is not as desperate as he wishes to make out!1

To King Addick,i totally agree with most of your comments, but I have supported Charlton for 65 years and the supply from youth to first team has never dried up Kids will always come to Charlton because they know that they will if good enough get a chance.
Rd has given Bowyer a budget, albeit a very low one,but as I said ,a good manager and team will find the players. How many Aribos and Lookmans are out there playing Sunday Morning and lower league saturday afternoon football. These players are there to be found.Kinsella was playing for Colchester, look how he turned out.
Who had heard of Beilick and Burrington prior to them coming to us,I personally think that despite the lack of funds we will do very well next year.

We still haven’t seen ‘clear evidence ‘ that that is the case. i.e. a statement from Dalman himself or those representing him.
Not saying it isn’t true.....only that as things are as of this moment, I’ve personally not seen anything to verify the claim......indeed, has anyone?1
