Ahh, bless him.
Just had his swimming pool 'upgraded' and the Palarse badge now no longer adorns the tiles at the bottom of the pool. I thought I'd do the same to my bird bath.

Private Eye spoof message board this week made me smile. About the extinction of the name Nigel.

You've got to love the £100k a week "striker" Benteke.
"The guy is finished as a striker at this level, mentally he is shot and utterly bereft of confidence but his anticipation for the simple aspects has now gone. A natural striker would finish without thought, he actively seems to go through the motions when he has a chance. He doesn't anticipate runs, he doesn't even read second balls anymore and his hold up play was poor today. I don't dislike the guy, I just feel sorry for him".
"For the Love of God just **** off. If we give him a new contract i give up".
"Please please leave this club. An absolute shocker of a striker. Pathetic again".
"Pay him off and ship him out. NOW!!!"
"If an average person was at inept as their job as him they’d have been sacked sometime last year".
"We can’t have him on the pitch again - it’s genuinely embarrassing."
Ad infinitum......

Charlton 6 Crystal Palace 1
That was the result in the Girls U10s at the weekend, but still. Always good to see a triumph over the stripey nigellas.2 -
Hmmm, maybe we should field our Girls U10s against Millwall in November - they came to know how to turn up for a derby.Vincenzo said:Charlton 6 Crystal Palace 1

Thought this was a bit rich coming from Watford of all teams but still glad someone was able to provide the reminder.Callumcafc said:0 -
Gary Cahill is proving an excellent signing, with them being solid at the back it only needs a Zaha tumble to earn them 3 points0

Is there a more overrated player in the league than Zaha?
Not sure if it's because he's sulking at not getting a transfer or something, but he's been absolutely dreadful this season.2 -
VAR has fucked up his game, he knows he cant just dive all over the place anymore and is being shown for what he really is, which is OverratedChris_from_Sidcup said:Is there a more overrated player in the league than Zaha?

Shocked to hear on MOTD last night that the Golden Boot prospect, Benteke, has signed a contract extension at Palarse.
My contact certainly kept that one quiet. I asked him if it was to 'protect their asset' in the forthcoming January transfer window - he suggested that if that was the case the Benteke's contract extension is the equivalent of an attic conversion on your house, in the hope of improving the sale value. Except that in the last couple of years you have found out that the place is damp infested, has issues with Japanese Knotweed, and the neighbours are Fred and Rose West.
