Roland's what, 72 ...... his Mum, if she's still playing, must be at least 90 years old or more.
Goals may have dried up. She might have lost a little pace by now.
Yes, Roland - good idea. They need a new forward ..... sell your Mum to Palace.

LB: “We knew we had to put a good, competitive squad together. We know that if we lose someone, we have someone coming in who’s just as good. The standard in training is excellent.” #cafcLB: “Everyone wants to play and I’m thankful we have that competition because it pushes everyone and makes them better players. We’ve brought in 14 players so we still need to blend, but they are doing that quickly.” cafc
LB: “At the moment, things are good, but we’re only five games in. We know what we have to do and that is to stay in this league.” #cafc
LB: “Erhun Oztumer, Tomer Hemed and Beram Kayal all need to get a bit fitter. Beram played a game behind closed doors on Tuesday and got 75 minutes. He’s coming back from injury so it’s about getting them up to speed.” #cafc
LB: “Some of the younger lads will be going out on loan. We have enquiries about some of the more senior ones as well, but we need bodies, so I need to make a decision over the next few days. It’s about weighing up whether to keep them around just in case." #cafc
LB: “Chuks Aneke is fit and OK, but Deji Oshilaja will miss this weekend. He’s not too bad so will be ready for the next one after the international break.” #cafc
LB: “I’d rather keep going when you’re winning, but the international break comes at a good time. It’s a good time to re-evaluate what’s positive and negative and the lads have time to spend a bit of time with their families because it has been hectic.” #cafc
LB: “It gives me a chance to have a break as well. I’ve never been so tired in my life! It’s healthy to have a break to recharge my batteries and go again.” #cafc
LB: “Tyrone Mears has gone. Adam Matthews is still here. He played on Tuesday and did well, so we’re happy with his progress. He didn’t have a pre-season, but what I’ve seen so far is promising.” #cafc
LB: “I love Lockyer’s attitude. He’s a winner and he puts his body on the line. He gets back to make last-ditch tackles a lot and I’m happy with his start, but he will get better. He’s different from any centre-half I’ve worked with before and that’s a good thing.” #cafc27 -
LB: “I heard about the Huddersfield story because everyone starts panicking! Just because odds have been slashed, it doesn’t mean anything. #cafc
LB: :It’s the same as last season, it just means people are recognising the job we’re doing here. We’re happy here and we’ll keep doing what we’re doing.” #cafc24 -

LB: “I’ll tell the players to ignore it because it’s a load of rubbish. I’ve not heard anything about that other than people talking about the odds.” #cafc

I would look to loan a player or two to Bolton (assuming geography isn't an issue for the player) as they will definitely get game time. particularly good for Morgan as he will have to learn the defensive side of it pretty quickly!4

Any mention of Solly for Saturday?0

Although it could be a great atmosphere as the fans will be so happy that they still have a football club and the pressure will be off0 -

Reckon it would be a decent move. Like you say pressure off and if Bowyer wants him to work on the defensive side of his game then he'll certainly be getting a lot of that up there0 -
It's remarkable how very good a manager Bowyer has become in a very short space in time. It's not too exaggerated to say that he has saved our club from a slow and painful slide into anonymity6

It's not too exaggerated to say that he has saved our club from a slow and painful slide into anonymityThe best managers throughout the last 50 years have been above all people managers able to understand the differing needs of players and the different approaches required for each character - that is a trait learned very young. Clough, Ferguson, Busby, Shankly, Stein, Wenger et al - clearly Lee has that trait in abundance. All he needed was a stage on which to perform those behaviours - then it takes no time at all.Edit: before someone comments - I'm not comparing Bowyer to the greats I listed, just the characteristics.4

If anything, it might allow them to play with a bit more freedom.0 -
LB: “I didn’t really have a rest, it never stops! But the break came at a good time for us. Some of the players had a break, others have been away with their countries, but it’s been good.” #cafc
LB: “Lyle came back with a bit of a knock. We’ve put him in a brace which is just a precaution, but we’ll be looking to get him back out on the pitch tomorrow. Hopefully he comes through that ok and be available for Saturday.” #cafc
LB on Cullen and Williams: “For myself, I’m really proud. They were both playing U23 football not long ago. Jonny looks like a completely different machine to the one we got in January. He’s fitter and sharper and that’s why he got his start and got man of the match." #cafc
LB: “Josh has been given his chance and he’s earned that. They should both be proud and so should their families.” #cafcLB: “Birmingham will be a different challenge to what we’ve faced so far. I’m looking forward to it.” #cafc
LB: “They’re solid out of possession and get into their shape very quickly so we’ll have to break them down. They’ve got a good striker and are good from set-pieces. We’ll have to be patient and move the ball quickly.” #cafc
LB: “Deji Oshilaja is back training. He needs to catch up a little bit, but he’s been training this week. Beram Kayal got minutes for Israel and that was the most important thing for him. He’s back today so we’ll see where he’s at.” #cafc
LB: “Adam Matthews needs more minutes because he missed pre-season. Slowly but surely he’ll get up to speed and be competing for that right-back position.” #cafc
LB on Manager of the Month: “It’s nice to be put up for these nominations and it shows how far we’ve come as a club and how well the team is doing.” #cafc
LB: “We work hard every day in training so it’s nice to be nominated for these things, but the most important thing is that we keep doing what we’re doing and trying to improve.” #cafcLB: “As a player, it’s better when The Valley is bouncing and I know the Birmingham fans will be making noise, so hopefully we can get some more turning up on the day because we need them. They make a hell of a difference.” #cafc21 -

It must really be the minutest of injuries if he's even considering him for Saturday. Good news I guess, but like some have said I'd rather not take the risk and rush him back... we do have Hemed.

Oh dear. Groundstaff are about to get it in the neck.0

LB: “George Lapslie hurt his hamstring on Tuesday so he’ll be out for a couple of weeks. Pearcey picked up a knock so won’t train today, but should be OK for Saturday.” #cafc
