You've got to love the £100k a week "striker" Benteke.
"The guy is finished as a striker at this level, mentally he is shot and utterly bereft of confidence but his anticipation for the simple aspects has now gone. A natural striker would finish without thought, he actively seems to go through the motions when he has a chance. He doesn't anticipate runs, he doesn't even read second balls anymore and his hold up play was poor today. I don't dislike the guy, I just feel sorry for him".

Shocked to hear on MOTD last night that the Golden Boot prospect, Benteke, has signed a contract extension at Palarse.
My contact certainly kept that one quiet. I asked him if it was to 'protect their asset' in the forthcoming January transfer window - he suggested that if that was the case the Benteke's contract extension is the equivalent of an attic conversion on your house, in the hope of improving the sale value. Except that in the last couple of years you have found out that the place is damp infested, has issues with Japanese Knotweed, and the neighbours are Fred and Rose West.
