Sigh really not enjoying the championship.
  • Our poor defending is costing us, we seem to have no composure at the back. Other than that I don't think there was much difference between us and Luton. Considering how many players we have out injured, we can't grumble too much.

Defensively we are woeful and it’s the area where injuries havent taken their toll. Simply not good enough and needs addressing massively whether it be a kick up the arse for Lockyer and Pearce or a change it tactics from Bowyer.

Relegation battle is well and truly on.

I know we are ravaged by injuries right now, but we have our full contingent of defence to call upon and they haven't been good enough over the past few games as a whole.
  • Wow that’s was horrible. We looked leagues apart - could have been a cup tie. Exhaustion I suppose.

It’s frustrating because we’d play these teams off the park with no injuries. But unfortunately, we don’t have ‘no injuries’ and we’re dropping points in must win matches. We were poor tonight and probably didn’t deserve anything, but Luton were poor too.

On the plus side, no more injuries

Disappointing but not surprising. First game I haven't got frustrated with Leko, thought he played well.

Also, fair play to Leko, understandably he has his critics but he was our best player today.
  • We are currently a genuinely pony side .
Every time the oppo attack we look vulnerable .
Players being carried contributing minimal .
    9 points from 12 games .
we are only heading one way
we need some miracle recovery’s Cos this lot aren’t good enough .
yes they graft etc etc but that’s not enough

Not a lot went our way tonight. What’s worrying is that’s it’s now becoming a bit of a pattern.

We’re scrambling for everything now. It’s a tough time with injuries and a thin squad and, on top of that, we’re not getting much rub of the green.

    No win in 6.

23rd in the form table (last 6 games).

    Injuries ravaged the squad.

Let's hope we can get to January out of the relegation zone and then shore up our gaps in the window.
  • Comic defending at times - no composure.
  • 9 points from last 12 games without Taylor. He goes in January then we're going down.

Just sell the club and FUCK OFF
  • Said it Saturday but we're in a false position, get the injuries back (more importantly keep them fit) and we'll climb the table again
The kids like Morgan and Doughty are putting in seriously brave performances but it isnt quite enough at this level

Unlucky to lose tonight I think, we certainly knocked on the door at the end there. We know we're decimated by injuries, and that not only means we're missing key players like Williams Cullen and Taylor, but it also means Bowyer has no tactical flexibility, which has been so important to his success as a manager.

On another night, Luton may well have had their first disallowed for offside and their second for handball.

Can't fault any individual's effort, they've just got to push through these next few weeks. Even with the difficult situation we're in, we've been in every match bar maybe one or two and we're giving everyone a game. I'm still adamant we're going to be fine in the long run, but it might be the New Year before it starts to get fun again. I hope the crowd remains patient.

We’re not getting the results but we are nine points clear of 22nd. That’s a bit of a stretch to think we might be in the relegation zone in January.

We will be comfortably mid table by the time Taylor, Williams et al are back in time for a run of form and spring will see us gatecrash the top six. :-)

terrible at the back, Lockyer woeful.

we lost to a very poor team tonight, ably assisted by an awful ref.

It will be difficult getting out of this slide without several of our injured back.

Yep, said the same at half time on Saturday. I have zero confidence in us keeping a clean sheet at the mo. Don’t think it’s just a couple of defenders, it’s us across the team as a defensive unit. Other team get into the final third and just find ball to feet space too easily.

I'm not worried, I think we will be fine once we get our key players back

They're being exposed by the midfield in front of them.
