Rest in Peace Seb. You will never be forgotten and will always be remembered as a Charlton legend2

Miss scrolling through Facebook and seeing his posts about Charlton or his photo album from another away day. The first would always be taken about 6am when the street lights are still on and he’s making his way to the station. His love and devotion to Charlton is like nothing we will see from anyone again. A proper 1 in a million supporter.18

Will go down as one of the most respected and loved Charlton fans in the club’s history. Will always be regarded as the heart and soul of the fan base.11

A nice tribute to Seb from last week which I don't think has been posted here yet:

A most endearing character, very much his own man and perfectly happy with his own company.
Part of the woodwork and much loved, treasured and protected by everyone who knew him.
Will be remembered as a harmless gentle soul.......you’ll remain long in the memory of all who knew you Seb.UP THE ADDICKS .......Seb......UP THE ADDICKS!13 -

Thanks for the link. I remember the Preston game well. Alot of people were late due to train issues but Seb was Seb that day.
Going to be a very strange feeling with out Seb but he will always be watching from in the sky.1 -
Sleep well Seb, you will always be hugely missed at The Valley and of course, every away ground up and down the country.
It was such a classy gesture from Chris Powell only the other day to dedicate his last goal for Charlton at The Covered End to Seb. A man who I am sure Seb loved and respected. That same love and respect shared straight back to him by everyone connected with our club.2 -

Obviously it would need to be discussed with Seb’s family etc but I feel it’s maybe something the CAFC fans, staff etc would want and a great way to remember Seb.
If any family members read this, my thoughts, sincere condolences and best wishes are with you all.
R.I.P Seb
Just seen this - glad he got to visit The Valley one last time.
RIP Seb.14 -

I wonder what Seb would have made of the awful mess we are in at Charlton. His memory deserves better.10

Is TS up to speed with our legendary supporter? I hope if the takeover goes through that Seb gets a decent memorial.9

1076.
Truly unbelievable.
A fan in a million8 -
That's very fitting, sure he'd have wanted it to be at The Valley, and he's definitely a part of our history to celebrate.

He certainly deserves his place in the museum. That's a wonderful addition.8

If only I had the skill I’d make an automaton doing the worm to wear that shirt. It anyone does have the skills, let me know I’d help to the limit of my ability and commission the work 😁1

Players, managers, owners all come and go. Even grounds. Some leave more of a mark than others and some even leave a stain. What is constant is that the club is all about the fans. Seb, even amongst the fabulous supporters we have and have had is pretty unique. 1076 consecutive games is simply mind boggling. If it was up to me and it’s definitely not I would have Seb Lewis in our Charlton Athletic Hall of Fame. If a true Charlton icon like Seb isn’t worthy of a place then heaven knows who is.I might even start a campaign.20
