Hope his number 20 shirt is re-assigned to somebody when squad numbers are announced, even if we only had 18 players on the books.

Would explain a few things, and he is very good friends with Matt Taylor. Were roomies together when we won League One.

Yes, we’re looking to sort something out very soon. Was due to do an interview of sorts today so we can start arranging his ‘goodbye’, but he had some family stuff to deal with so catching up tomorrow.

I really hope that Solly gives a reason which means his status at the club is unblemished by all of this but wonder what it could be and why he has taken so long to do this. 

His length of service, graft and entirely committed performances on the pitch every time he has pulled on a Charlton shirt had made him a real club legend to me.

Solly would have played against Cardiff of that Im certain... Bowyer mentioned post match that he had to play Lapslie there as Matthews' had a knock leaving Lee with no other right-backs

As per my Lyle Taylor thread comment.... This man is a massive prick for not having the balls ( or anyone could say he's quiet or shy.....that's bollocks) to stick around to help his team mates.....forget us fans. Factor in us fans and he let a LOT of people down. Don't give me the loyalty shit in the years he served. He should have explained If he was that much of a shy and retiring man....I'm like that but I'd always want to explain myself if I'd upset someone.... Let alone 15-20,000 fans. Prick.
