Miss scrolling through Facebook and seeing his posts about Charlton or his photo album from another away day. The first would always be taken about 6am when the street lights are still on and he’s making his way to the station. His love and devotion to Charlton is like nothing we will see from anyone again. A proper 1 in a million supporter.

Will go down as one of the most respected and loved Charlton fans in the club’s history. Will always be regarded as the heart and soul of the fan base.

A nice tribute to Seb from last week which I don't think has been posted here yet:

A most endearing character, very much his own man and perfectly happy with his own company.
Part of the woodwork and much loved, treasured and protected by everyone who knew him.
Will be remembered as a harmless gentle soul.......you’ll remain long in the memory of all who knew you Seb.

UP THE ADDICKS .......Seb......UP THE ADDICKS!

Thanks for the link. I remember the Preston game well. Alot of people were late due to train issues but Seb was Seb that day.

Going to be a very strange feeling with out Seb but he will always be watching from in the sky.

Sleep well Seb, you will always be hugely missed at The Valley and of course, every away ground up and down the country.

It was such a classy gesture from Chris Powell only the other day to dedicate his last goal for Charlton at The Covered End to Seb. A man who I am sure Seb loved and respected. That same love and respect shared straight back to him by everyone connected with our club.

Don’t know if the time is right to suggest this, and I’m sorry if I do upset anyone but I presume that Seb’s Funeral has taken place, if it has it would be with just close family in attendance, due to the current Lockdown etc,  None of his CAFC friends, staff or players (Current and Ex) would have been allowed to attend and say their goodbyes/offer their condolences - In light of this I’m wondering if the club would be prepared to hold a Seb Lewis Memorial Service at the Valley once life returns to some type of normality. Obviously it would need to be discussed with Seb’s family etc but I feel it’s maybe something the CAFC fans, staff etc would want and a great way to remember Seb.
Seb's close family apparently paid their final respects to Seb yesterday at Eltham crematorium. Seb's cortège was driven past, and stopped briefly at, the Covered End.

If any family members read this, my thoughts, sincere condolences and best wishes are with you all.

    R.I.P Seb

Just seen this - glad he got to visit The Valley one last time.

    RIP Seb.

Only just seen this, what a great piece. Thank you for posting, Weegie.
  • I wonder what Seb would have made of the awful mess we are in at Charlton. His memory deserves better.

  • Happy birthday mate.

Does anyone know what happened with the money we raised to get some sort of memorial or statue built for him?

    Happy birthday Seb x
  • Is TS up to speed with our legendary supporter? I hope if the takeover goes through that Seb gets a decent memorial.
  • That’s wonderful 😍

    Truly unbelievable.
    A fan in a million
  • That's very fitting, sure he'd have wanted it to be at The Valley, and he's definitely a part of our history to celebrate.

If only I had the skill I’d make an automaton doing the worm to wear that shirt.

It anyone does have the skills, let me know I’d help to the limit of my ability and commission the work 😁
