Can 2020 please leave Charlton alone
Ridiculous the amount of fans we're sadly losing at the moment - Rest in peace Steve, like Seb and Chris, its horribly sad that you wont get to see this coming revolution!!0 -
Steve was a really lovely bloke , who had a gentle way of dealing with things, knew him indirectly years back through my sister, thoughts with the family at this difficult time.2

Just so sad. I got to know Steve in the last few years through the CAST board. It's fair to say we had some robust debates, but only because of a shared passion for Charlton and desire to do the right thing. It's only a matter of weeks ago that he stepped back - at the time we thought temporarily.
As @Pico writes, it is all the more tragic that we have lost him just at a time when the club and fans look like uniting again. Steve much preferred conciliation and co-operation to protest and would have been back in his element with an owner like Sandgaard.
My heart goes out to the family and Steve's many close friends.
2020 can't be over soon enough. What a desperate year.30
