Anyway back on topic....
I feel sorry for Johnny Williams, he cant play as a 10 unless Doughty doesn't play (or plays at left back) and now he is injured he has just spent over an hour running around on a ploughed field. What ever your opinion of him as a footballer you must admit he doesn't have much luck.
I think this team selection will be based on who is fit enough to start tomorrow, more than with 1 eye on Saturday. I would think Watson and Shinnie would come in regardless, then it's which ones come out.
Are Chuks and Maddison fit enough to start?

No reason why Maddison won't play a part from the bench, with a view to starting him at Pompey.

Gobinson was most embarrassing Charlton manager of all time with the obvious exception of Carol Fraye
Despite the fact that the football was appalling under Robinson, the main reason I loathe him so much is because he quite happily allowed himself to be the salesman for Roland's ridiculous way of running our club. He quite happily signed up to the "see how you get on in the first half of the season and then we might spends some money in January". He told us that Katrien and Roland were good guys. Any manager with any credibility (Chris Wilder for example) wouldn't have wanted to be associated with such a shoddy set up.
Joke of a manager, joke of a man.Jackson also gave some praise to Roland in his recent interview, as well as a fair amount of criticism.
And I well remember Robinson slagging off the regime towards the end, when he was trying to manipulate his way out of the club and into the Oxford job. Typical of the sort of bloke he was.
Anyway, going round in circles and it's a bit boring. I can't stand the bloke, you clearly think he was terrific and must have seen something inspiring during the multiple defeats against Bury, Peterborough, Oxford, Northampton, Gillingham and Southend that I'm not astute enough to spot.2) Tone down the tribalism mate, I’ve already said I’m glad he’s gone. Just find it baffling that someone could hate someone who they’ve never met and wasn’t even that terrible a manager.3 -

I thought Williams had an OK game. It wasn't his best but he was involved. If he is up to it, I'd definitely start him tomorrow. In fact, fitness permitting, Pratters, JFC and Jonny would be a good starting point.0

Don’t understand the hate for KR. He did talk a lot of shite, but brought Bowyer to the club, played some good football at times, cared about the club etc. I like him tbh!18

I still think he's a prick.11 -

Are Chuks and Maddison fit enough to start? If you start Watson on Tuesday he’s almost certainly going to get booked and completely miss the Portsmouth game, who are certainly better than Oxford.1 -

He was a very, very difficult man to block off once he got up a head of steam. We also had precision deliveries from the likes of Colin Powell.
Opponents will also be so concerned about Inniss' aerial prowess that they'll be vulnerable to the occasional variation in approach, such as a near post flick on from another of our players (the sort of routine that Mark Kinsella and Stevie Brown used to deploy).
JFC put in a few good corners on Saturday and Maddison is a renowned dead ball specialist, so our goal output from this important source should improve. It's an important area of the game and one that we've hardly excelled at in recent years. Smyth's long throws might also prove useful on occasions, with Inniss looking to flick the ball on at the near post and generally create some chaos.
Phil Chapple for example scored 15 goals in 167 matches for us2 -

Another thing we will have to factor in is the possibility the season can't be finished. So there is the primary objective and a secondary one to get us in the promotion positions by the time half the total games are played and beyond.4
-
Another game we need to win if we are going to realistically targeting a place in the top two.No reason to believe we won’t win this one. Going for a 2-0 Smyth and Inniss1
-
Please remember that this is a 7pm kick off.1

I'm going for a squeaky bum 1-00

Nice and comfortable- 3-0. Inniss, Maddison and Bogle.0

If Smyth scores we will win.

In a spirit of optimism, I predicted a two-nil win against Np'ton and was duly rewarded.
Optimism is back in vogue at Charlton, and not before time too. So I'm going for another two-nil. No idea about scorers though.0 -

SE16, if that is where they are going, then that is 3 points to us0 -
Is Matthews available for tomorrow?0
-
With Chuks out, doubts over Doughty, and Maddison I imagine not ready to start, I slightly worry about our goal threat tomorrow, especially if Bowyer rotates Bogle back to the bench. I suspect that if win, it will be another hard fought 1-0 type victory1

2-20

I'd like to see us go for a more attacking side.
Knobinson likes the smell of his own farts so will expect to be able play his usual stuff.
2-2 Inniss sees red and Williams somehow scores a brace.4 -
